I don't really understand the appeal of the Minnesota job.

I wouldn't be wild about it, but it's a better gig than several (IMO). Big modern indoor stadium, big modern practice and office facilities, owners that are patient (too patient??), livable city. New GM. Could be a lot worse.

On the down side: a perpetually whiny fan base and local media. They like to think themselves vastly superior to their Wisconsin counterparts, but they get seriously pissy when asked about Vikings history  :D

Oh,..... crappy cap situation that will hamper a rebuild from a middling team

If it's true he really wants a 10 year deal the appeal is probably them being the only team willing to actually do that.

I was in middle school when Brady won his first Super Bowl. And dude still had a **** ton left in the tank considering he just threw for 5,000+ yards and 40+ TD's. Crazy.

What a career for Brady, chances are we never see anything like it again in our lifetimes.

did you guys ever see Brady talk about how Gisele is a 'good witch' and all the weird ritual stuff they do? It's weird, like really weird.

Oh and what a dick move by Schefter to 'break' the story on the retirement, what an asshat.

Yeah, the "breaking news" journalism trend is so toxic. It's all about being the first to something where being first doesn't matter and ruins the moment. The DDV injury story was great because it gave us something we didn't already know and probably would never have found out. That is the reporting we need. Announcing a trade or a draft pick 10-minutes early because you got the lead from writing fluff pieces about the subject? GTFO. We would've found out in a much better way 10 minutes later.

I have not heard about this but not surprised. Super rich people must get bored with their lives that they end up doing the weirdest stuff lol.

Brian Flores is suing the league and the Dolphins. In the suit he alleges Bill Belichick texted him congrats on getting the NY job. Only problem is BB thought he was texting Brian Daboll. This was before Flores even interviewed:

Not to make light of a serious situation but the part about Elway and broncos crew showing up an hour late and hungover is funny.

Also tin foil hat conspiracy... BB sent those texts on purpose to get back at NY for beating him in the super bowl :)

The other part that is crazy to me is the dolphins owner allegedly offering Flores 100,000 for each loss in 19.

Looking at social media, most Bronco fans are like, "Elway was hammered? What else is new?"

Not sure NFL can keep this up for the entirety of Black History Month.

If you ask Viking fans, it's because they have a Top 10 QB, RB, and WR but then those same people will admit that they can't improve the team as a whole next year unless they trade Cousins for cap relief.

Maybe I'm naive, but I feel like this Flores lawsuit is going to be very, very huge and impactful.
