They choose teams, not conferences. It requires a very unusual combination of circumstances to leave the SEC out, but 3 undefeated Power 5 champs and a 1-loss champion that kicked Bama's butt would be just such a combination. Alabama needs FSU or Michigan to lose, SEC mystique or not.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

You say that but I'm not convinced. I hope so. We just may see.

If Alabama or Georgia had looked great all season, then there might be some valid debate, but the committee has never shown any propensity to base their decisions on anything that happened in prior seasons, which means the SEC has no case. Texas looked as good as either of them and has the clear trump card.

FSU (third string QB) is horrible. Rodemaker would be back for playoffs. Too bad Travis got hurt.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Oh fun, brace yourselves for all of the "derrrrr we're one of teh fuor best teams!!" quotes if you haven't starting seeing them already. If you don't like losing your spot to an undefeated team from a slightly lesser conference, then switch to a lesser conference. Otherwise stfu.

Keon Coleman would fit right in with this Packer WR group with drops like that

Love Wu Tang getting some flowers on national TV, but a college football game using “CREAM” out of halftime commercial break is a little too on the nose.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Need FSU to hold on. I want to see the absolute meltdown in SEC country.

Alabama over Texas would be a travesty.

Takes one fluke play to tie it. Hang on FSU.

Re: 2023 College Football Discussion
It should absolutely be Michigan, Washington, Florida St, & Texas. 3 undefeated P5 Champs & Texas beat Bama. When you take out conference bias and just look at logic it becomes really simple. Leaving out an undefeated P5 Champion would be utterly ridiculous and it'd make a mockery of the whole idea that the Regular season means something.

Re: 2023 College Football Discussion
MICH WASH FSU UGA. MICH UGA in the rose bowl seems fun. no way they leave the SEC out, id rather see Bama fan crying.
FSU might have the best defense in the country though. Certainly the best ive seen this year and ive watched them a few times.

I can't see any reasonable reason Georgia should be in. They just lost a h2h matchup against Bama and they aren't Conference Champs. They also didn't really beat anyone.
