I'm wondering if the price for Fuller is a 1 year 5-7.5M dollar deal and then jump back on the market next year when the cap is back up?

LOL. You're dreamin. Peterson just signed a covid deal. There was never gonna be 1yr/$5m bargains from good players. They'd probably just sit out a year

Starting to agree. No real ring chasers. There will be one year deals. But the player will get money. Aj green was nuts. Peterson was a solid 1 year deal for vikes.

I do think you're seeing a ton of shorter deals this season in anticipation of going back out in 1-2 years when the cap booms again.

Guys won't turn down money to sit out a year. NFL players are notorious for not managing their money well and amazingly going check-to-check (especially the mid-to-low tier guys), which is why the NFLPA has never been able to persuade their members to sit out to force better terms in CBA negotiations over the last 30 years.

Will that mean getting a guy like Fuller on a short, cheaper deal? I don't think so, but I'm surprised he's still on the market. There might be teams scared off by his injury history and PED suspension, and hesitant to give him a long term deal.

Fireworks....

Honestly, my bet is five years from now, Boyle is a QB coach, either in college or some pro team. He's been learning from a couple of sharp offensive minds. He may have a career arc like Darrell Bevell if he's fortunate - and that's not a bad thing.

The NFC Central continues to pick up our scraps. A tradition as old as time.

Van Noy back to NE for 2/13mil....what a steal

That defense will be pretty good with some of their new pieces and all of the dudes returning from the Covid opt out.

Will we see a Brady vs Belichick SB?

I did not expect that move. Unless Allen goes down for an extended period, Mitch will be picking his nose on the sidelines - a lot.

Rudolf going elsewhere isn't a surprise though.

1 yr/10 mil...sounds like that is what Golladay will do and both will hope for an increased cap next year.

If I am either one instead of 1yr/10 mil with a bad QB give me 1 yr/7.5 with a good to great QB and next year's offers are that much better.

Golladay met with the Bears.

That's the route that I predicted, but the numbers are still a big higher. Not a lot of WR left that are very interesting to me.

Goff is going to get every opportunity to keep his starter job. Barring injury, he'd have to be really terrible for them to bench him for Boyle. I say this as a person who thinks Boyle can be pretty good.

Boyle was in GB for three years. GB would know if he were an undrafted diamond. They could have kept him or put a second-round tender on him. Anything can happen, but odds are that he's a pretty decent backup QB. And GB thinks in 2021 Love will be a better QB2 than he is, and they didn't want to pay $3mil for QB3. If they were like, man, this guy is a future QB star, they would not have (1) drafted a QB in the first round last year or (2) let him walk and try to find a good contract somewhere as a backup.

What's with the Chargers signing all of the ex-Packers. Scout who used to work for GB? Or a pro personnel guys who watches a lot of Packer games?

Who have they signed besides Casey Hayward, Bulaga, and Linsley? Hayward was a number of years ago already and I'm guessing with Bulaga and Linsley they just wanted to sign quality players and it was a coincidence they were both Packers.

Allen Robinson seriously considering signing his 17.9 mil franchise tendor.

No sh** dude.....you would get about half of that on the open market.....66% if you're lucky.
