Awesome. If he was a one year wonder, he can easily be gone.

Lots of concerns with how that guy will age, what his next contract will look like, and frankly I'd rather just trade for Chase Claypool and sign Will Fuller and get likely more production out of what would be less cost per year when you factor in any extension for DK..

Ok, but he's 24. I don't think this is a concern for another 4-5 years. I agree on the contract though. He'll obviously want to be paid even more than Tyreke and Adams next year

Not unless he gets 1800 yards this year.

After seeing the comments on how hard he goes at game prep, I'm pretty confident he'll be a top corner in this league.

Their secondary is loony. Honestly may make the most sense to play Savage in the slot and have Douglas play more of a safety role.

But man with that secondary and Campbell re-signed, their coverage ability should be downright incredible.

I would actually love to add a Safety relatively high in this draft so we can absolutely repurpose Savage and figure out if we can unlock his potential, because I don't know that he is a difference maker at Safety.

I'd also be looking at Nick Cross out of Maryland as another extremely high ceiling type safety that I'd hope could start after a season.

I feel like we've kind of forgotten about Alec Pierce in this thread. He was regarded as a prime candidate during the CFP but hasn't been mentioned much lately. Seems to check a lot of the boxes they like. Would be great if he's available in the 3rd.

I don't know why it's 51 not 53 but here's the explanation:

from the start of the new NFL league year in early March until the first week of the regular NFL season in September, only the 51 most expensive contracts actually count against a team’s salary cap. This is because the salary cap is designed to accommodate a 53-man regular season roster—not a 90-man offseason roster. Teams need the additional players for training camp and competition purposes, but if all 90 were counted against the salary cap, almost every team would be significantly underwater.

Just watched some tape on Pierce and I was getting some Jordy vibes. Sounds like he could use some help with his route running but he has the physical attributes to succeed. Projected to go in the 3rd/4th.

I'm not gonna pretend I know whether he's been playing well or not the last few years, but this would certainly suggest not. Makes you wonder if he's really even giving 100% anymore considering he presumably has a fair amount of talent and just turned 29. Is his 6-game suspension considered a turning point in his career or something? He still must be better than Lancaster of course...

I know they made a bit of a splash over him coming to GB - partly he's one of the few outsiders signed this season. But as you note, isn't he really Lancaster's replacement and so, either Slaton or potentially a high draft pick gets the majority of the snaps? Barring injury or Slaton having a significant sophomore slump.

I'll take Laviska Shenault. Jax may be willing to deal him.

Id be all over that i think he would flourish in a MLF offense....is that just a hunch or actual reports of him available?

Speculation from Zach Kruse

The Jaguars could be looking to deal Shenault after signing Christian Kirk and Zay Jones in free agency. Kirk is primarily a slot receiver. The team also added tight end Evan Engram, who operates mostly from the slot. It’s going to be difficult to incorporate Shenault into the offense now developing in Jacksonville.

While miscast with the Jaguars, Shenault could be a fun fit with Matt LaFleur and the Packers.

In the Deebo Samuel mold, he’s part receiver and part gadget weapon. Samuel is a one-of-one type player, but Shenault moves and operates in similar ways and could be used by LaFleur as a versatile weapon out wide, in the slot and in the backfield. He’s a player that can create yards and chunk plays with the ball in his hands in space. It will take a creative play-designer and play-caller to maximize Shenault’s potential, and LaFleur has exactly the blueprint in what good friend Kyle Shanahan has done with Samuel.

The 42nd overall pick in the 2020 draft has 150 career touches (121 catches, 29 rushes) gaining 1,351 yards and five touchdowns. Injuries haven’t been much of a factor; he’s missed only three games in two seasons.

Shenault doesn’t turn 24 until October and could provide a big dose of talent, versatility and playmaking ability to a receiver room that needs all three.

Ya that makes sense with what they did in Free Agency...i remember a lot of people wanted him on draft day

I don't think the Dk trade is gonna happen..seems like he wants to stay in Seattle think its a pipe dream
