Davis has a $13+ million cap hit this year.

D Parker has never seemed to have any consistency. One good season in 2019, a bunch of injuries... alas it was Miami... but no loss in my book.
I needs shades for this future thing we owning..... 8-) 8-) 8-)

Am I the only one freaked out by DK’s “diet”? I want no part of a $28-30mil / year contract for a dude that eats candy for every meal. That will not age well. Ticking time bomb health wise.

The Packers aren't giving up a pick for Metcalf only to find themselves in the same situation they had with Adams
Lockett on the other hand .....

Texans reportedly want a 2nd for Cooks, would Packers do it?

I hope not. That could very well be an 8 year starting tackle your draft in that spot.

The real miss was not having the timing and cap worked out to make a play on Amari Cooper with how little he went for

Would be wild if they could pull off a 2nd for Cooks. I think that may be wishful thinking. I'm with you, profound. I'd do a 5th for him. MAYBE I could be pushed to give up a 4th since we have a comp pick in that area this year.

No chance, I had a feeling the Davante and Tyreek trades screwed with the overall trade market. They see teams coughing up both 1st and 2nd round picks for these guys and all the sudden they think they can up the asking price on some of these other guys.

Jaire for Metcalf would be kind of interesting.

I know Jaire's extension will become a troublesome issue, but I'd rather they hung onto him. Between Alexander, Stokes, and Douglas that should be a very dynamic set of DBs.

One of the things I worry over is depth. The seventeen game regular season schedule seems to rack up a high rate of attrition, so having a deep team by position is a necessity, rather than a luxury. Last season, it was the timely arrival of Douglas and his uncanny performance that saved the day. Just think of how far down the depth chart the OLine had to go last season. Linsley gone in a cap move, to be replaced by a (competent) rookie, who in turn got injured, and then Bakh and Jenkins were lost for the season, and Turner was out for a bit as well.

You can certainly argue that the WR and TE depth is thin and you aren't likely to completely fill those holes just through the draft. Still I value Jaire more than most of the Reciever swaps I've seen - so far.

I'd pass. I think it's harder to find a stud CB than WR.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Do the Packers have another, way less valuable Jaire than the one I'm thinking of?
