Interesting read:
https://www.acmepackingcompany.com/analysis/70245/green-bay-packers-detroit-lions-matchup-analysis-week-1-2025-weakness

What are the Detroit Lions’ weaknesses?

The interior offensive line is shaken up in Detroit following the loss of Frank Ragnow and Kevin Zeitler this offseason.

Our sister site covering the Lions, Pride of Detroit, named two positions as their most likely Achilles heel: the interior offensive line and 4-3 defensive end.

“As for weaknesses, the most glaring one to me is along the offensive line. Obviously, there are questions as to how long it will take the starters to fully gel, and beyond that, Detroit has a lot of inexperience and struggles with their reserves.”

I think #0 looks so much better. Every time I saw #22 I thought of Mark Lee.

IF Walker's the LT and Tom is the RT, what's the likely starters in between? Banks, Rhyan, Morgan?

If Jenkins can't go that's likely it. If Jenkins can than Rhyan likely moves to RG

Why would this trade go through if he was really injured? Schefter was talking about needing epidural to play on Sunday. The way he was hitting the sled he didn't look injured at all.

Could be a smokescreen. It's a big divisional game.

He'll be on a pitch count for conditioning purposes, but the back injury stuff was 100% an agent ploy/holdout tactic. He passed a physical and has already practiced.

The injury stuff was likely leaked by Dallas because of the ass whooping Jerry is taking in the media and fan reaction.

They're doing Cowboys spin to their sources on the media - painting Parsons as going back on his word and as someone who they didn't like personally and wasn't a leader in the locker room.

Of course, those same sources claim they offered him in excess of 150M guaranteed to stay, so they must have not hated him too much.

Schefter wouldn't be the first ESPN clown to make up/exaggerate facts about a Wisconsin sports team.

Parsons is fine. Can't believe some of you don't want to play the guy this Sunday. Unleash him on the Lions please.

He didn't have a training camp. I think it's more than fair to want him on a pitch count on Sunday and the following Thursday.

I’m sure he worked out and stayed in shape. It’s not they hit each other in training camp anymore or use camp to get in shape like they did in the old days. And how many snaps did Gary and Cooper take in the 3 games? It’s an honest question… I don’t know the answer.

The Lions didn't play their starters at all this preseason. The Packers barely played their starters. Could be a somewhat ugly game.

Andy Herman on Pack a Day had the opinion that the NFL shouldn't schedule any division games week 1 and I think I agree with him
