Any chance we package a 2nd and Love for Seattles no 9 pick?

Some draft odds and ends from King:

The Niners have zero picks in the top 60. The Raiders have zero picks in the top 80. The Rams have zero picks in the top 100.

Denver has zero picks in the top 60, and five picks in the next 60.

The Ravens, starting with the 76th overall pick, have seven of the next 66 picks.

I asked Daniel Jeremiah to pick two receivers to give Green Bay—one in the 22-28 area, and one in the 53-59 area. “Chris Olave for the first one,” he said. “Incredibly smart, disciplined route-runner, 4.3 speed, the kind of receiver Aaron Rodgers would love.” For the second, Jeremiah chose North Dakota State’s 6-4 burner, Christian Watson. Smart and physical, with 4.36 speed. Practiced in Fargo for five years, so the weather wouldn’t be an issue.

The Jets, with four picks in the top 40, would also love to put one of them off till next year, if the right offer comes.

Houston now has multiple first-rounders in the next three drafts. The Texans get first- and third-round picks from Cleveland in 2023, and first- and fourth-round picks in 2024. Don’t complain, Texans fans: Houston has five of the top 80 picks this year, and it’s better to spread these picks out, particularly if a quarterback is a target next year.

Cleveland still has five picks in the top 120, because the deal with Houston for Deshaun Watson includes just one pick this year—the first-rounder, 13th overall.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

There are some real incompetent front offices out there. How can you suck every year, even tho you're picking near the top of every single round every year.?

The Patriots keep picking Olave ahead of us in the sims that I'm doing. Bad omen.

I would love both receivers but I do not think Watson would be there with our late 2nds. Packers haven't picked a wr in 1st round since 2002. I would like one of the DL men from Georgia

That's where it's tough for a GM. If there's a guy you really love do you trade up so you don't lose him? How far do you trade up? I guess if they like Olave but there's another one they rate very close they'd just roll the dice. This will be the most fun draft in a long long time. While trading down is a distinct possibility and maybe the right thing to do I'll be disappointed if it happens from a fan watching on TV perspective.

If Gute really loves him, I think he'll trade up for him. He probably still regrets not trading up for Jefferson.

Rumor after that draft was that gute actually traded up for jefferson but when viks took him at 20 love was their #2 guy true or not i heard that.
Think that wr from alabama with the torn acl falls to the packers if so n olave was gone as was that other ohio state wr would you roll the dice on that alabama guy

The veteran QB's playing musical chairs is denting my hopes for a run on mediocre draftee QB's squeezing into early first round, and better prospects sliding as a by-product. So it goes....

Curious how everyone ranks this WR class. Some good depth. I've seen London and Burks ranked much higher than I have them. My big board right now is:

1. Jameson Williams
2. Garrett Wilson
3. Chris Olave
4. Christian Watson
5. Drake London
6. George Pickens
7. Jahon Dotson
8. Alec Pierce
9. Treylon Burks
10. Wan'Dale Robinson
------------------------------------------
11. John Metchie III
12. Skyy Moore
13. Jalen Tolbert
14. David Bell
15. Calvin Austin III

Well, many Packer fans were mad that they got N'keal Harry when they were hoping we would draft him. Look how that turned out.

The dots were just separating the top 10. But yes, he probably would be, especially that his knee seems to be progressing fine.

LAC, NO, and NE are there between 17 and 21 and it wouldn't surprise me if all of them would take one of the top WRs there. Not sure what Philly is thinking, but they have picks 15,16, and 19. Would they be interested in moving down? If one or two of the top WRs starts to slide, is 22 + 53 enough to get 16?

Not to be pedantic but don't the numbers separate the top 10? ;)

Lots of talk about taking a WR, but also wouldn't mind if we take the best TE left with our 3rd. Looks like that might be Likely or Ruckert.

Definitely need a TE and probably two WR's from this class to replenish the skill position cupboard. If Olave is the guy then I don't see why you wouldn't spend that extra 4th to move up and get him. Plenty of draft ammo to move up and down the board. Ideal draft board:

22: Chris Olave - WR
28: Boye Mafe - DL
53: Tyler Smith - OL
58: Alec Pierce - WR
92: Cameron Thomas - EDGE
132: Cade Otton - TE

Too lazy to do the rest.
