I have a feeling this thing might get derailed with Easter and whatnot.

We could postpone until Monday, and just push things back a day?

I'm ok with that, we'd probably only get through 2 rounds then. I just have a feeling Bucksfan would be making most of the picks today if we proceed with the schedule.

I guess if people start showing up ready to pick we could keep going too. I dunno, it's not really my call.

I think it's interesting that no QBs outside of the top two went in this version of the draft, yet Watkins, Heyward and Clayborn were there when GB went on the clock. Who the hell knows what goes TT's head on draft day but I have to think he'd be thrilled with any of those guys.

With the 35th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Cincinatti Bengals select:

Well Kiper and McShay think only 3 or 4 QBs go in rd 1, I'm surprised no one took Locker in rd 1 over here. Mallet, Ponder and Dalton are all borderline low 1st-2nd rd picks.

BTW I personally would not have taken Newton at all in rd 1, but that's just me. I'd take Ponder, Dalton, Locker and Mallet over him.

Ok, I think we might have to pick for Denver here since dafan334 didn't show up for his 1st round pick either. I think Denver needs defense, defense, defense. Cam Heyward, Marvin Austin, Jabaal Sheard, Martez Wilson, and Rahim Moore are all still out there.

Is Paea still on the board? He would be a good fit. Otherwise I would go Austin or Rahim Moore. Or maybe a corner like Davon House.

Paea is on the board, WalterFootball mock has the Broncos following what the Bucs did last yr, using 1st and 2nd rd picks on DT's. They could also use CB help, so give them one of Marvin Austin, Stephen Paea, Davon House or Brandon Harris.

With the 36th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select:

Rahim Moore, S, UCLA

Any pick on the defensive side of the ball helps Denver, no matter which position they opt for. They decide to go with Moore here instead of another DT to serve as an understudy and eventual replacement for Brian Dawkins.

I didn't see your post of suggestions until after I picked. Honestly, they need help everywhere on D so I think you can make a case for any defensive player with that pick. Moore is supposed to be pretty good in coverage with some thought that he could even be used at CB so he could potentially help out there too.
