Preston Zachman returning is an underrated boost for the Badgers. He was PFF's highest graded defender last year for Wisconsin

Why do players feel the need to announce they AREN’T leaving? Seems weird to me.

In a lot of cases, the "I'm back" is produced by the team itself. I think it's a hype thing as all of these progrums/NIL collectives/whatever want to hype themselves up with good publicity.

Wishing Pauling the best of luck.

I also wish CJ the best of luck, it's just for a totally different reason.

Pauling may be a pretty big loss.

CJ had the agility and turning radius of an aircraft carrier.

Its funny how all of these transfers have been such non-factors/negatives on the field that its hard to even care.

Yeah, CJ is pretty replaceable and Pauling was probably the biggest disappointment on the team.

Former 247 #4 overall WR. Only 11 receptions in four years in what's been the most loaded WR room in recent memory.

Not a bad get, maybe it turns out great...probably is just a wash with "highly regarded recruit that did nothing at helmet school" of CJ Williams.

#6 WR in 2022 class out, #4 WR in 2021 class in. #Winning

Lafele leaving is a bummer. We need all the pass rush options we can get. Seemed a little undersized for the spot though, especially if the plan is to use the OLB as standup defensive linemen.
