Hilarious mock draft.

At pick #23 Packers select Mike Green (over Will Johnson who falls to Minnesota, which I would be a little upset about) but at pick #15 the Atlanta Falcons select Mike Green.

Bears getting Tyler Warren and Vikings getting Will Johnson would be one of my worst case scenarios for the NFCN. I do not want Tyler Warren in the NFCN unless he is a Packer. That dude is going to be a menace.

Guys like him, Will Sheppard, Dont'e Thornton, and Kyren Lacy could be good late round steals. However, I think we take Jayden Higgins early, maybe even "overdraft" him compared to most mock drafts.

Ha, looks like they updated it already. Now they have the Packers taking Ezeiruaku.

If the Packers pass on Johnson I would scream.

Yeah, that is even worse. We get a project pass rusher and allow Minnesota to get the best corner in the draft.

If Will Johnson falls that far it's because he either has injury or off field issues

If we can't trade up for Warren, I would love the Miami tight end Arroyo. Mason Taylor seems decent, but Arroyo just shows more yards after the catch. Not sure about Loveland, I wouldn't hate him as our first round pick but I would much rather get someone else then take Arroyo in the second if possible.

Why are we taking a TE that high? Kraft is a known quantity & Musgrave still has great potential. At least that's my thinking.

Luther Burden is my guy. Take him at 23. He’s like a perfect mix of Deebo Samuel and Jordan Addison. He’s got the speed to be a deep threat and the skill to be dynamic all over the field. I love the idea of the versatility he’d bring to the offense. He’s gonna be a good one.

I am not high on Musgrave and believe we can run some great two tight end sets with Kraft/Warren or Kraft/Arroyo if it were possible. Think Aaron Hernandez/Gronk before Aaron went nuts.

Four different sites, four different mocks:

23 - Mike Green - EDGE | Marshall
54 - Tyleik Williams - DL | Ohio State
87 - Isaiah Bond - WR | Texas
124 - Denzel Burke - CB | Ohio State
159 - Danny Stutsman - LB | Oklahoma
198 - Jaydon Blue - RB | Texas
237 - Jack Nelson - OT | Wisconsin
250 - Dont'e Thornton - WR | Tennessee

Dunno what to make of Green's off the field stuff, but he's the best pass rusher in the draft and he fell here at 23.

23 - Jalon Walker - LB Georgia
54. - Walter Nolen - DT Ole Miss
87. - Dorian Strong - CB Virginia Tech
124. - Emery Jones - OT LSU
159. - Tyler Shough - QB Louisville
198. - Kobe King - LB Penn State
237. - Dont'e Thornton - WR Tennessee
250. - Vernon Broughton - DT Texas

I'd stick Walker at edge and make King the long term Quay replacement. Like King a lot.

23 - Derrick Harmon - DI Oregon
54 - JT Tuimoloau - ED Ohio State
87 - Jalen Royal - WR Utah State
123 - Jaydon Blue - RB Texas
160 - Quincy Riley - CB Louisville
199 - Bhayshul Tuten - RB Virginia Tech
239 - Smael Mondon Jr. - LB Georgia
251 - Cam'Ron Jackson - DI Florida

Couldn't help taking Tuten when he was there in the 6th.

23 - Will Johnson - CB Michigan
54 - Malachi Starks - S Georgia
87 - Jordan Burch - ED Oregon
124 - Jaylin Noel - WR Iowa State
159 - Nick Nash - WR San Jose State
198 - Tyler Schough - QB Louisville
237 - Jamon Dumas-Johnson - LB Kentucky
250 - Trevor Etienne - RB - Georgia

Somehow both Johnson and Warren were there in round one.

Having Johnson & Starks fall that much seems unrealistic but would be a home run. Same with Walter Nolen falling all the way to 54

First Packers Top 30 visit:

Esa Pole - OT/OG - Washington State

Likely a late round or priority free agent selection. Also has 30 visits with Seattle and Kansas City.

Love all of them, the final one would be crazy. Having Will Johnson and Warren both available at the same time would almost make me want to trade up from the second to pick #24 and get them both if possible. But Starks in the second and Noel in the 4th would be insane value.

Also, I have been calling Tuimolau in the second as a better prospect than Sawyer. Looks like in most mock drafts that's becoming a consensus as Sawyer is falling down two rounds. Sawyer often looks lost in space and Tuimolau just has better instincts.

Keep Jaire and give me Golden in round 1. This offense cannot be elite without an over the top WR. Kruse recently posted the man coverage stats of Reed, Doubs, and Wicks and they are goddam ugly.

I’d be really happy with Golden. I love Burden but Golden would be a step in the right direction no doubt. The kid from Boston College is most likely the pick at 23 if he’s there. That’s just my guy instinct, we love the pipeline players. Idk if that’s good or not but that’s just where I’m at with Gutenkist.

Can we please just finally hit on a game wrecker/breaker type of player in the 1st round? Whether it’s some beefed up DL, nasty edge rusher, dynamic WR or lock down CB, just give me 1 for the love of God. Hopefully this can be the year where the whole physical profile and lack of production schtick can finally die in the 1st round. I have little faith, prove me wrong Gutenkist.

I know WR typically aren’t our picks in the first, but if it wasn’t for a down year I don’t think Burden would even possibly be available. Size wise he should be able to play the outside. Consider me intrigued.

I’ve heard Golden compared to Jennings before, but if he runs 4.4 is he even remotely considered a round 1 pick? I wouldn’t be upset if he was our first rounder but wondering if he drops back a bit after other pro days.
