This is how I feel about it.

At least they're consistent about giving receivers catches?

So pass rusher, oline, or another’s DB in the first?

I wouldn't bet against it. This was a fluky bad year. We still have the LeBron of the NFL. Whether or not Capers is back, we'll probably have a healthier defensive backfield.

When Super Bowl odds come out next spring or whenever, I predict the Packers will be the lowest among NFC Central teams regardless of what the Vikings do in the playoffs.

The NFL game is not fun to watch in the slightest....injuries and flags on every single play, more commercials than game, very few personalities in the league, terrible refs. This is just my objective opinion, but no way I would watch the NFL if I didn't grow up a Packers fan. Wasn't watching at all when we were playing Hundley

Would settle for a new defense coordinator instead lol

Who cares? They will bust or get hurt. Since Matthews and Raji in 2009, Kenny Clark is by FAR the most competent first round pick we have had since. Pathetic.

It's surprising how fast the NFL is losing ground. They fumbled the concussion thing. The overall product is just not that entertaining, I agree.

To quote a bad old jingle, they've been green and growing for 50 years, since the mid-Sixties when they elbowed themselves a spot in American sports almost equal to baseball's, then blew past it a decade or two later. Even five or ten years ago it looked like they were in an unassailable position.

Now, not so much.

We used all our luck up with hundley. Crazy how unlucky Rodgers is in tight games or overtime’s. Most of the time he has no control on the outcome

Dom can't come back. Consistent confusion amongst the D pre-play and horrible zone schemes killed us as per. Screens and the TE finding holes in the zone, same thing every week.

Is there anybody on the current staff that would be able to take over as DC? I would think they should fire Capers now to get the players a taste of a new scheme. I think the defense has talent and could have played a lot better than they did. All that said is assuming someone in the system wouldn't just bring more of the same.

Watching average or bad pro sports teams has no real reward so that certainly hasn’t helped make me want to tune in like I used to

Have to trade out of the 1st to get lesser players imo.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The game really stinks right now.

No. We should be looking to bring in a DC and let him bring in his own guys. Our defense is not good enough at any depth to act like anyone should keep their job.

No way. If guys like Moss and Whitt were any good they'd have been hired as a DC somewhere else.

Clean sweep.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Except for the defense, which was bad again for like the 6th straight year.

ETA: But it was still a fluky year in a pretty substantial way. I think even if Murphy, MM, TT et al feel like it's not Capers' fault, he still needs to go. Literally nothing to lose.

Pretty simple fix assuming Fox is fired: Vic Fangio
