He'd be the rawest QB prospect to go #1 in the modern era by a longshot, so you better be sure the talent is worth the swing. Dude is ALL tools right now.

Josh Allen is going to get so many GMs fired.

Yeah, I get it. You don't wanna be the guy that passes on the outlier talent dude. But man, call me old fashioned, cuz I still want my franchise QB to actually be really good at the whole "throwing the football" stuff. I think he makes Wyoming Josh Allen look like Dan Marino.

He's pretty raw, but I wouldn't have a problem with him at 15.

I agree with this. I would love an edge guy at 15. Just cannot have too many of those guys on your team.

Packers had a visit with Thomas Incoom. Would love to grab him as a developmental edge.

Not yet. Should have clarified it's from the Senior Bowl.

Those certainly matter. Especially since GB drafted like 4 or 5 guys from the Senior Bowl last year

I wish PFF would adjust their trades and make them more realistic.

I am able to trade Aaron Rodgers to the Bears for the number 1 pick and a future first.
Colts give up the #4 pick, #35 pick, and two future firsts for Rodgers and the #78 pick.
Raiders give up #7, 1st 2024, 2nd 2024, 1st 2025, 2nd 2025.
Go all the way down to the Saints and you get their 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and all of their draft for 2024 and 2025.

Man I wish any of these were true.

On the flipside I can't even give a team to give me a 3rd round pick for Bakhtiari.

I ran into the same issue. I think I was able to get every Raiders draft pick for at least the next two years, plus Darren Waller.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur, coaching staff will skip the NFL Scouting Combine

Green Bay’s coaches will reportedly work from home while most of the league is in Indianapolis next week
By justis.mosqueda Feb 24, 2023, 6:07pm CST

Per Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated, neither Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur nor the rest of the Packers coaching staff will be present in Indianapolis for the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine. LaFleur hasn’t had an opportunity to speak with the media since his end-of-year press conference and joins a growing crew of coaching staffs who are electing to work from the headquarters during the pre-draft process.

In total, 20 of 32 of the NFL’s head coaches will speak at the combine. It’s worth noting here that the coaches who are opting out of speaking in Indianapolis generally come from the coaching trees that LaFleur developed under. Among the 12 head coaches who aren’t making the flight to Lucas Oil Stadium, two of them (Mike Vrable and Arthur Smith) come from Tennessee — where LaFleur was previously the offensive coordinator — and five more (LaFleur, Brandon Staley, Sean McVay, Robert Saleh and Kyle Shanahan) have coached with each other in the past.

The head coaches who LaFleur isn’t connected to who are skipping the combine this year are Buffalo’s Sean McDermott, New England’s Bill Belichick, New Orleans’ Dennis Allen, the New York Giants’ Brian Daboll and Pittsburgh’s Mike Tomlin. Electing to stay home for the combine could be seen as a preventative measure against the poaching of young assistants in response to the league’s recent rule change that revoked the ability of teams to block assistants from interviewing for coordinator positions. After all, the combine is as much a networking event as it is a work trip.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst will be speaking with the media at 10 AM local time on Tuesday, February 28th, though. This should come only a few short hours before quarterback Aaron Rodgers makes his return on The Pat McAfee Show later that day following his much-talked-about darkness retreat.

Buckle up. Tuesday should be a big news day for Green Bay.

Bucky Brooks has us taking Michael Mayer at 15 in his Mock 2.0

I go back and forth on him as a prospect. This may be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but the more I watch Mayer, the less I'm interested. Seems like a solid player with a low ceiling, like a supercharged Deguara. 15 feels high for an in-line TE that isn't overly athletic and has separation issues. On the other hand, he makes contested catches, so maybe the separation issue won't matter.

Yeah, Mayer might be my 3rd best TE prospect. I wouldn't hate the pick but at #15, that feels like a reach similar to when we picked Deguara in the 3rd round.

This would be a perfect draft to double dip at TE. Get Kincaid and then a big blocking TE later
