I've ragged on his lack of production, but I'll give him credit for working hard the whole time he was in Green Bay. He is just too far into the downhill side of his athleticism.

I'd bet some team would like to take him on, but at what price?

From CBS Sports(FWIW):https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/packers-bryan-bulaga-expecting-at-least-12m-per-season-on-contract-in-2020-free-agency-per-report/

Packers' Bryan Bulaga expecting at least $12M per season on contract in 2020 free agency, per report
That kind of money would make him one of the game's highest-paid at his position

by Cody Benjamin @CodyJBenjamin 3 hrs ago

A day after a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report indicated the Green Bay Packers have had "no formal discussions" with impending free agent Bryan Bulaga about a new deal with the team, we now have an idea why that might be the case.

According to Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson, the "conservative market" for Bulaga, 30, is expected to be about $12 million per season when 2020 free agency officially kicks off on March 18. That number might not seem unreasonable in contrast to, say, the reported $20 million desires of Washington Redskins Pro Bowler Trent Williams, who's seeking a new deal after a hopeful trade out of D.C. It would, however, mark a significant raise for Bulaga, who cost the Packers an estimated $8.35 million in 2019 and earned an average annual salary of $6.74 million throughout his expiring five-year contract with Green Bay. In fact, a $12 million average would make the former first-round draft pick the fourth-highest-paid RT in the NFL.

The best ability is availability.

We let Sitton and Lang go at 30, Bulaga turns 31 next week. Bye bye
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Kirksey visiting Green Bay today. Loved him a few seasons ago. I'd just worry about availability with him.

I liked Kirksey coming out of the draft. If he's healthy he'd be a nice get.

Yeah, I think it's time to cut bait. I was absolutely amazed at the level of availability he had last year, but that may have been his peak before crashing. The Pack can't afford that potential price tag, even this year for a 31 year, very high mileage Tackle. I hope he gets $12 million, but somewhere else. Use that cash for other players

BTW: kudos to LaFleur and staff for the veterans' rest program. That certainly seemed to help several of those high mileage players.

Delanie Walker would be a nice consolation prize if he is recovering well from his injury.

I'd say Hooper is a long shot now that the Redskins are interested. Redskins are gonna give him the entire bank.

I’d be down for brining Delanie Walker in or re-signing Lewis. I think Hooper is too expensive and we have too many holes. Plus I’m really high on Sternberger and want to see him step into TE1 by seasons end. It would be nice to have Hooper though.

Littleton is the only FA I’d consider going “overboard” for. Zero reason to invest heavy in the TE room, Sternberger can play and 12 doesn’t even prioritize the position.

Beef up the trenches, get a playmaker WR and an every down MLB. We have 26m and 10 picks, I think we are in the drivers seat.

Could it be the reason why rogers dorsnt prioritize it is because our TEs have sucked so bad that they are not open if i remember he sure liked cook when he was here.
These TEs are a big part of matts O we have no idea how rogers would feel about a stud TE but i bet he would cherish it.Stud ILB and a vet #2 i think would be great to

Even with Cook you're remembering pretty much a month and a half worth of games. He was pretty invisible much of the time the first 3/4 of the season.

That said MLF offense seems to prioritize RBs and TEs so it's not a bad idea to focus on adding talent at those positions

Wishlist:

1: Either Littleton or Schobert.

The parts of the game they impact are similar. Littleton is better but from a price point I'm not sure Schobert isnt going to be better value

2: AJ Green, Cobb or Gordon

I was hoping for Anderson but his price point is looking way to high. Cobb fills a hole in the slot. Green is a bit of a mystery on what he'll command on the open market. I through Gordon on just because if the league is going to allow him to smoke weed he could be a good cheap place holder while a rookie develops.

TE: Ebron. Bring back Lewis after the draft if no one falls

Hell no to Hooper at over 10 a year. Go with the cheap option and hope Sternberger develops.

RT: Just draft one. Veldheer as a stop gap. Or slide Turner over to RT as a stop gap and start Taylor at RG

FA might be the worst place to find a tackle year after year unless you can afford to give them QB money just stay away and hope you find a young one in the draft

DL: Raid the bargain bin for solid run defenders

If they can just grab a run plugged or two they should actually be ok. 3 down linemen are obviously good to have but our pass rush wasnt an issue. No need to spend big

CB: Tramon

Sure the tires can blow at any time but if you can bring him back on a cheap one year deal I see little reason not to do it

Pretty good coverage ILB. Not great against the run. Same as Littleton actually. (Littleton is better though like I said)
