Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Just finished the draft, year 14, in the league. Not my best, 12/12.
Saquon, Puka, Olave, DJ Moore, Najee, Stroud, Zack Moss, Tyjae, Brock Bowers, Chase Brown, Jaleel Mclaughlin, Wicks, Marshall Lloyd, GB, and Narveson.
Long season for all of us, enjoy the moments.

First time I've done FF in almost a decade, and I somehow got both Bijan and Jamyr Gibbs in a 10-team PPR league.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
I think I only have one real decision to make week one and it's Caleb Williams or Matthew Stafford, anyone care to chime in on that one?
Not that it matters, but since I'm bored at work:
RB: Jahmyr Gibbs, Isaiah Pacheco, Aaron Jones (will start as Flex)
WR: Drake London, Devonta Smith, Tee Higgins (4th WR and next Flex play option is Jaxon Smith Njigba)
TE: Kyle Pitts

So far my decision of Rashee Rice (overpay in auction because I had spare money) and Pacheco in my snake have proved to be solid.

That's tough. I'd tend to lean Stafford as he'll be throwing alot and I just can't trust a rookie QB week 1 that's on the Bears.

Have Love as my QB. Best waiver QBs are Stafford, Geno, or Levis. Who would you go with.

Stafford is safe, Levis is intriguing. Ran into this same problem with Love on 1 of my teams. I went with Baker because Stafford wasn’t an option and I have Mike Evans already. It was between Baker and Levis for me. I’d go Stafford if I were you but Levis does have that unknown factor he could light it up. I guess it just depends on how safe or risky you’re trying to get?

Have Love as well. I almost NEVER draft two QB's, but for some reason decided to grab Tua in the late rounds where the value was just too enticing.
In your case I'd go Stafford. That should be a strong offense and you get the Cardinals D next week.

Ended up going Stafford. Levis was/is tempting but that probably just the thrill of the unknown.

Not feeling particularly good about taking St. Brown and Etienne in the first two rounds of my big money league.

Always an overeaction to week 1 but if Jameson Williams really has taken the next step that's gonna cut into St Browns volume a bit. He'll be fine but just a bit.msiris wrote:Its wek one. Etienne yeah. Not everyone back is gonna be McCafferey putting up 20 points on his "bad" week

Yeah, I know they'll be *fine* but considering draft capital and involvement, I'm a little nervous. If Jamo emerges and Bigsby gets a healthy split of carries, these are players that could easily underproduce relative to where I took them.

LoveMcCafferey, but you have to give that off line alot of credit.Mason stepped in and didn't miss a beat. I was one of few who drafted him ith my last pick just in case.RRyder823 wrote:Always an overeaction to week 1 but if Jameson Williams really has taken the next step that's gonna cut into St Browns volume a bit. Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Am I crazy to consider Dobbins over Etienne this week? Full-PPR. Cleveland's D is pretty nasty and Dobbins gets the Carolina Kittens and likely a favorable game script.

I didn't do FF this year but I wanted everyone don't take CMC with the #1 overall pick. I liked Saquon as the #1 pick this year for a number of reasons

Almost took him at 7 but went with Amon-Ra in a PPR league, kicking myself for that after week one.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
I’m in a 10 team league in which CMC went number 1 overall. The guy who picked him didn’t pick up Mason at any time during the week leading up to the opener and ended up losing his week 1 matchup with the lowest point total, leaving him number 1 for waiver claims. Not only did he not put in a claim for Mason, but neither did teams 2-7 and I was able to claim him with the 8th claim.
Love the guys in my league.
