One of the issues was that he was always injured up until his final year when it was a guy they'd never seen make it through a year vs. 2nd year Allen and Chez, who they did not believe was destroyed by injury yet.

I'm guessing it was a mutual separation at that point - you couldn't have Allen as the #2 back if you're the staff and Guerendo wanted to go somewhere where he could probably start instead of likely walking into camp as the #3 guy.

ESPN ranks the Badgers portal class #10.

10. Wisconsin Badgers

The Badgers went 5-7 this season and missed a bowl game, but Luke Fickell has attacked the portal in search of necessary depth. On offense, Ball State tight end Tanner Koziol can stretch the field and is a big, productive talent with a massive catch radius. Also joining him out of the Group of 5 is Idaho wide receiver Mark Hamper, who had 966 yards and six scores in 2024.

The QB room just got better as well, adding two productive starters in Maryland's Billy Edwards Jr. and San Diego State's Danny O'Neil. They combined for more than 5,000 yards passing in 2024 and will compete to take the reins behind center in 2025.

On3 has them #12, 247 has them #10.

I have to think that they'll add another QB yet. Fickell talked about wanting 5 scholarship QBs and they currently only have 3. Specifically he said last year they really struggled to find QBs to run the scout team
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

It's going to be interesting trying to find guys at this point. Obviously there will be plenty of names in the portal, but it's probably going to have to be the caliber of guy that backed up at a MAC school and is a senior and never expects to play or some guy coming up from FCS that wants to just get a taste of D1 or whatever.

Yeah, it's probably just a warm body. You can probably have Milos be QB5 but Id think they want atleast 1 more scholarship guy just for depth

Was really good at Grand Valley State. Transferred to LSU and didn't do much this season.

Had 2.5 sacks as an interior DL in the SEC.Feels like he could potentially have a Hills like impact.

I guess if you want to spin his production positively he was LSU's highest graded interior defender last season according to PFF. Would have been Wisconsin's. Only played the 5th most snaps, though.

I watched a lot of LSU this year and that defense wasn't good. Not having Perkins was a huge blow. Confusing why Suggs didn't play more.

TVD to SMU is amazing and I have to wonder how much money he's swindled out of those Texas swingin' dicks. That program is absolutely loaded with NIL money.

Yea, I'd be trying to stay in college as long as I can too. Diego Pavia is going to make so many kids millions. My brother and I were talking about it last weekend. You could have a Juco kid get a couple hundred thousand then transfer up and still have no accrued years. Redshirt a season, take some money. Play four years and get more. Maybe there's an injury year in there. It's already happened.

Leave college with a degree, no debt, and just a load of cash. Good for these kids.

Kenny Guiton to QB coach is interesting. He's never coached QBs before but he played the position in college. Have to hope we got this right because Grimes doesn't have a QB background.

So we're just trading CBs with Miami.
