I guess I'm not as passionate about Rodgers as many of you are. When he's on the field I root for him. When he's off the field I don't care about him. Same with every player on every team I follow.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lies. You have a Giannis plush doll. I know you do.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Oddly enough, all Fredo had to do was not lie when asked if he knew who Johnny Ola was

Definitely the way to do it. And thats how I am most of the time, with most of my favorite team's players. But I just couldn't help myself with guys like Favre, Rodgers, and Giannis. This Rodgers thing is absolutely gutting.

What Aaron is doing is so much more dangerous than Kyrie. No one takes Kyrie seriously. An entire state has deified Rodgers. But no one should mistake someone being articulate for intelligence. Aaron proved that today. Sad day in Packer fandom.

Short term I'm just gonna tune out the BS drama and get excited about Jordan Love, but this is going to be such a massive distraction for the rest of the season. I don't know if I truly believe in the idea that players can lose focus because of off-field distractions, but what a **** unnecessary grenade to throw in that locker room right smack in the middle of the season for a 7-1 team that's just finally getting healthy.

Yeah, I mean, if he were a lesser role player I could do that easily. But when you are the star it hits differently. I'm more emotionally invested in some sports figures than others. I can't separate the emotional part because the emotional part of sports is why I'm drawn to it in the first place.

Wonder if Aaron Rodgers could do some research to cure my dad’s cancer as long as he has these amazing doctors.

Oh my. Never go full Rogan.

The signs were there for years but no one wanted to believe. Nothing would make me happier than this arrogant prick retiring today.

Team Love. Team Gutekunst. Please remove this qlown off my team ASAP.

If I ever get a speeding ticket, I'm going to quote MLK.

FFS take the vaccine/treatment debate to the CA board. That's why we have it. Keep it off this board. I'm tired of having to keep saying it. I know some of you are passionate about it. Great. Discuss it over there.

This day really hurts. I am first and foremost, a Green Bay Packer fan, the players that give the team the best chance on the field to win are generally the ones I want on the team. But this is just too much. It's one thing for Rodgers to act like a selfish prick at his own expense in the off-season. It's entirely another issue to actively undermine efforts to curb a public health emergency with his "research". Whether he likes it or not, his decisions DO affect others, not only through harboring a communicable disease, but through his influence as a revered public figure. Say what you will about whether we SHOULD revere athletes and their personal opinions, the fact of the matter is that his OPINION does carry weight and in this case, could cost people their lives.

Let the Love era begin.
