We'll always have the time we shut down Buffalo for a 5 minute stretch.

If you think this defense looks good on paper, wait until you see it in person.

So, what did ya think?

This defense is the biggest issue. God forbid we can't win a game when 'only' scoring 17 points. Look at a team like Tampa. 6 times this year their D has given up less than 17 points.

This team could easily be 1-10 right now.

Amazing that a popular preseason pick for the Super Bowl can be this bad of a team. Their D is average at best and sucked today. Their ST sucks. Their passing offense sucks. That all sounds like a bottom-10 team.

Rodgers was awful tonight. Dude missed on some really wide open guys.

Yes, the D is easily the biggest disappointment of this season. The team was supposed to be built on great D, but nobody told Joe Barry.

So many first round picks and pricey free agents. A supposed #1 CB. They've been at best average. Sucked today. Why even keep drafting defenders high when they play like this. Stokes regressed this year, before his injury. Savage has regressed every year since his rookie year, and he should just be cut, but instead he has a fifth-year option. Ja playing like an average CB, borderline starter for many teams. Walker hasn't lifted the D.

We are arguably the worst team in the league and if not worst outright then clearly worst for salary paid. At least other bottom dwellers don't have cap commitments like ours. We pay our players like super bowl contenders but instead vy for a top draft pick. Worse than treadmilling. Lakers of the NFL

Thankfully both Doubs and Watson have looked good. Two potential building blocks on offense right there. Team needs to crush these coming drafts though

Yup, easy 1st down even though Watson needs to learn to fall backwards but the refs have been criminal tonight. Hopefully this loss helps us in the long run unlike the one vs 49ers in the playoffs which completely screwed us for at least this season.

Things could be worse. Rodgers could be hosting the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions.

Just a reminder that Gute cut Zadarius to make sure he can afford fielding this monster defense week in, week out. Once in a lifetime GM imho.

Evero or Ryans would be good HCs, but it's hard to fire MLF after 1 bad year.

Not sure who to bring in for Prez/GM.

Three 13 win seasons has secured MLF at least 5 more years

A guy who hasn't even made it to a SB doesn't get that long of a leash.

I am semi-certain some weird scandal is happening in the locker room, like Rodgers recently found out that Shailene Woodley hooked up with LaFleur or something.

Or maybe Rodgers being paid in BTC when it was $60k is causing him to deliver the value it is now.

No team falls off this hard in one season.

I could understand if it was JUST Rodgers looking old all the time, but it's really not. Physically he seems fine.

Offensively there are plays where guys are just not even running hard or quitting on routes, not executing basic fundamentals, the sort of thing that happens when teams quit on a coach, but it also doesn't seem like that's the case.

Defensively, our scheme is bad. It's nowhere near getting the most out of our players and is playing not to lose.

Special teams is bad partially because of a lack of depth on the team, but also because we were forcing Amari out there on returns for years for some reason (I don't really believe this, but conspiracy theory: Gute wanted his guy out there, same thing with Dillon).

I don't think they can realistically fire MLF after one bad year, but at a bare minimum Barry needs to go.

Rodgers used to scramble and run really well. That has gone at this advanced age and it is a big loss.

Why is he not connecting with the wr s as he used to? Is it the poor quality of the wr s or has Aaron’s accuracy suddenly disappeared? He used to be the most accurate of qb s.

If we have an extremely low chance of making the wildcards, we should give Love extended time on the field. At least we will be able to have some idea if it is the qb or the wr who is the major problem.

Have no idea why our defense is not so good.

How is it possible Amari lasted so long on the team?

Like how?

This team sucks, but will probably win 2-3 more games and mess with the tank.

You might be on to something. I was kind of wondering about something like this too. This team was the #1 seed last season, it does seem odd that in one season they went from the #1 seed to a 4-7 team that could very easily be 1-10. Losing Adams was big, but it shouldn't make the entire team completely fall off like this. For what its worth, the Packers had one of their more impressive wins last season without Adams, on the road against an Arizona team that was 7-1 at the time.

I don't claim to be an expert in body language but the body language has been pretty bad most of the time this season, especially on defense. If I had to describe it I would say, you know the type of body language guys have they are getting beat 45-10. The Packers have that type of body language when the score is 0-0. Like the competitive fire isn't there.

Maybe the team just doesn't respect MLF and Joe Barry?

I know if I was NFL defensive player and the guy we hired to be our defensive coordinator, was the defensive coordinator of the 0-16 2008 Detroit Lions, I would be looking at him sideways the moment he walked through the door. And I would be looking at MLF sideways for hiring him.

Feels like there is more going on here than just the loss of Davante Adams.

Ironically, the last time I remember a team falling off this dramatically from one season to the next was the 2002 Milwaukee Bucks.

The only thing I care about the rest of the season is you MUST get Jordan Love extended time on the field. You just must. You need to see what he is in real playing time.
