Randall Cobb threw his first pass (that I've seen). Nice throw and completion.

Bill Simmons said it perfectly in one of his podcasts last year after the superbowl. The packers were a 14 win juggernaut in a 10 win body.

Awesome story.

.

I haven't really seen it discussed anywhere, but what do you all make of Donald Driver being listed on the updated training camp depth chart as the 2nd starting wideout? I was a bit surprised by this, but considering the variety of formations we throw out there, the importance of slot guys, and the amount this team runs a 5wr set, it probably doesn't matter much. My other thought was that I'd probably take Driver over both Jones/Jordy in the run blocking department.

Also,

looks like tonight is the last night practice.

I think DD has been the #2 in a lot of eyes for a couple years now.

I view DD as our 4th best WR, possibly 5th if Cobb is legit.

This, I completely understood DD starting as the #2 last year and expected one of Jones/Jordy to overtake him by the midpoint of the season (which essentially happened, although it's tough to tell to what extend DD's injuries played in that matter), but I don't see him as being better than Jones/Jordy anymore, and as Luke said, depending on what Cobb shows in the preseason, DD might be number 5.

I think it's more of an honor thing than anything. He will "start" the game, but does it really matter who plays what after that? We'll probably open with 3 or 4 wideouts so they will all be on the field.

This. Whomever starts, particularly at WR, is totally inconsequential.

Honor thing is right. While TT can make the tough decisions - he also recognizes character - DD is highly popular, humble, professional and set to break records this year - fortunately he's very close and won't need tons of receptions to do it. Pack will let DD start this year and get the records until he shows complete decline. As others said - doesn't matter who starts -its who gets the passes thrown at them. Next year? DD either retires or TT cuts.

That said I expect DD to be productive this year.

Some of you guys are really down on DD. He will still be an effective receiver this year. You guys are painting it like he's 99% finished.

Nice article.

At OLB - IMO its Walden in nickel - Zombo in base.
Neal & Burnett are obviious.
Figure Pack goes w/ Sherrod at LG even tho I'd start Lang if their close & focus Sherrod at LT.

Is anyone hearing anything about Ricky Elmore? I thought he was going to be the better players vs. he and Brooks Reed personally, but haven't seen ANYTHING about his TC performance
