“Two interesting teams who have been in touch with and monitoring #OU QB Jalen Hurts: The #Packers and the #Chargers,” Rapoport tweeted. “Both had meetings set up with him and have done virtual calls. Both have a veteran (of varying degrees) in as the starter and are expected to look to the future.”

We are interviewing Jalen Hurts? Hope we don't draft him early.

Makes sense. Hurts can make the intermediate throws and check downs and he's a threat on jet sweeps and roll outs and he's mobile as ****. Perfect for a LaFleur offense. I still wouldn't take him in the first 3 rounds but if he slipped somehow to the 4th, I'd pull the trigger.

Conceivably, could they be looking to put Rogers and Hurts on the field at the same time, in some situations?

I'm trying to make sense of the interest here.

Raeger apparently can't catch a pass. He is off my list.

Does that cause him to drop a few spots?

I mean I think he can play the slot. He has 20 pounds on Emmanuel Sanders at the same height. They compare pretty well from measures and testing with the exception of the 3 cone. And I think Sanders played plenty on the outside.

I’d love to trade down if I thought I could get him.

I think he could go as early as the early 20's, so I think 30 wouldn't be a reach.

As for the combine testing, they were pretty close in most categories, but Mims edged him out on a majority of drills.

Mims athletic testing was phenomenal. Reagor tested slower than I expected and I’ve read plenty of people say that three cone doesn’t represent what he does on the field.

Mims ability on the boundary would be Rodgers dream come true but he doesn’t offer the YAC that I think this roster needs. But make no mistake, I’ll be smiling if Mims ends up on this roster

Let me ask you mims runs a 4.3 40 tested great as you say yet isnt great at YAC ....why would a guy who runs a 4.3 40 not be great at yac is that more because of his catches on the sidelines more so than middle of the field.
For the record i know the packers need a yac dude but i like mims reach hands route running im just not sure whats tbe most important thing on the packers O skill side of the ball is a outside sideline jordyesque dude like mims or a jitterbug yac guy like reagor

Mims is my WR1. I think he's gonna be a superstar.

Hmm

The two qbs I am interested in are Love and Hurts....lol "Love Hurts."

If Love falls to us in the first I am taking him....if not I would be very interested in Hurts in the later rounds.

Shenault in the first
Kmet in the second
Hurts in the third

Would be great

Speed doesn't equal YAC. Mims sweet spot is backshoulder and contested catches on the boundaries. That's not to say they couldn't run him routes deep and see if he can take them to the house. Guys like Reagor and Ayuik are just so much more elusive on the field, just a strength they have I don't see in Mims. But again, I'm not expert, I like tall/fast guys too, but I just like Reagor more overall than Mims.

Kiper's two round mock (4.0) has us taking Higgins and Trautman. Watched Trautman's highlights and I am not impressed. Never saw him live so I could be wrong.

I'm against any TE before the 4th, maybe 5th.

Aren't this year's crop of TE's rated as underwhelming as a group?
