Gotta admit. Q-Aaron is one of the funniest nicknames in sports history.

The ground (running) game will be key. Despite the events of this week, I still have faith in Aaron (Jones).

It’s interesting. For something that Mr. Rodgers is so passionate about he’s only gotten vocal about it these past few days. Interesting. Can’t figure out why

I dunno. Being on the football board feels like an away game for me. Feels weird without Aussies around.

All he **** had to do was say he was allergic to ingredients in the vaccine, and was evasive about it because he didn't want to bias anyone's opinion on it by having to disclose this.

People would shrug and move on. Even if it was BS, there's enough plausible deniability there that there's little impact to his image.

But instead he chose violence and will go down in history as a grade A moron, not only falling for a conspiracy that the dumbest people do, but doing so in style with all the talking points.

Favre was a deity in Wisconsin until he decided to send dick pics and defect to the Vikings. Rodgers was the same until this year, and yes he did put the nail in the coffin that is his legacy by furthering societally detrimental propaganda that will result in at least a death or two.

His mom once said he wants to be remembered as a great man rather than as a great football player, but he put the torch to that ship.

I hate seeing great potential squandered. Was incredibly courageous of him to stand up against anti-Muslim hate at a game some years ago. But then negates it completely with this.

Prior to all of this stuff with Rodgers, I was excited about this Chiefs game. I think seeing Love out there will be pretty intriguing, though, even without all of this other nonsense swirling around Aaron. It's a tough environment but against a poor defense. KC will try to key on the running game, but Love will have some throws to make. It'll be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.

Holy cats, I thought Aaron was smarter than he showed in that McAfee interview.

Really? Just look at this thread. (sorry if this was sarcasm)

Rodgers has cemented himself as my favorite sports figure of all time. I was fully ready for the Rodgers era when Favre was pulling Favre shenanigans. Now, well, I'm immensely intrigued how opinion of him will sway if Love unfortunately goes out and throws one pick and has a fumble or two on blindside sacks (I am not rooting for this in the slightest and hope he does well). Before reading these reactions, well, I would have been uncomfortable watching him lead another team to a super bowl. Now, I think it'd bring a smile to my face if he winds up in Minnesota and roasts the division over the next three years, I'll just rely on the mental gymnastics of giggling at everyone in this thread declaring they are done with this stupid, bad man.

As for being a bad human, I know he makes a tremendous salary, but I'd bet a paycheck he has donated a higher percentage of his earnings to charity than anyone in this thread. Ditto for the bad man, Kyrie, referenced a few times here:

I'd wager $100 Rodgers' IQ is over 120 (more than one standard deviation over the mean; context, I've conducted over 500 comprehensive intelligence tests, and, anecdotally, my pre-test guess is almost always within 10 points) - maybe you can argue this is a case of too much horsepower without enough tuning/refinement if you don't like what he has to stay, but he's not a "stupid" individual.

Finally, if there's one thing I'm confident in, it's that the overwhelming majority of players on this team hope he continues to be the QB of this team, and I'm with them.

Advice to everyone - move on. We have a potentially special team. Enjoy it; there is a fair probability we won't have another team like this for 10 years or more.

Real quick - appreciate MD continuing to focus the conversation on the season.

Separate from how people individually feel about Rodgers' choice - I sincerely think this represents a major inflection point for the team. Smith is coming back, and we have Bahk coming. As best I can tell, the players on this team have Rodgers back, and I imagine they are wholly aware, whether one agrees with it or not, and deservedly or not, Rodgers is getting a considerable amount of hate in the media and general court of public opinion. I, for one, am looking forward to the IMMENSE potential of a massive FU rallying point and sense of purpose for this team over the remainder of the season. This post may age poorly, but I am now tremendously enthusiastic about this team moving forward the rest of this season. We got this, fam.

Just because he has a high level of intelligence (probably in the 130-135 range if we’re honest) obviously doesn’t preclude him from falling into this pit of misinformation. Plenty of intelligent people have been hoodwinked by **** crazy conspiracy theories.

Character matters. I’m rooting for Love to show us something on Sunday.

Everyone has a line-in-the-sand. Honestly, Rodgers crossed that line for me before this season with his antics. This antisocial escapade has pushed it way over the top.

What do we do as a team if Love doesn’t show out this Sunday? I don’t know.

There was PLENTY of evidence that Favre was a giant piece of **** far before the dick pics and signing with the Vikings, people just chose not to believe it or let it alter their view of him. Not really unlike Rodger's current situation.

Unfortunately, Charles Barkely was very right. Most professional athletes should not be role models. They are all ****, idiots, or both.

I have high hopes that nothing wonky comes out about Giannis.

After sleeping on it, it’s somehow even more stunning just how big of a **** dunce aaron is.

Dudes mid life crisis hitting him hard. Hitting the bong and patrolling Q Reddit, nailing teeny bopper actresses, playing acoustic guitar in hawaii with Miles Teller while wearing cargo shorts, medical advice from a failed standup turned podcast host, the ponytail.

This man is going through it.

Would LOVE to see jordan just ball out tomorrow for many reasons, but number one would be to see how Mr. sensitive’s psyche handles it.

Really wouldnt mind if his feewings were so hurt he just decided to retire today. More than ready to move on. As previously stated, character matters.

I'm sure he aced all his classes at junior college, but as has been pointed out, it's a mistake to conflate intelligence and discernment. The jaw-dropping nuttiness he is now showing is an embarrassment to the league, to the team, and to us as fans.

Since you apparently have a background in psychology, you are certainly aware of the cognitive bias known as the halo effect. I don't think I've ever seen somebody rip his halo off with more ferocity than Rodgers has in the last few days.

Hey Aaron -- I don't care if your father is a chiropractor, and maybe he's one of those chiropractors who doesn't believe that microbes cause disease. I don't care if you believe in the preposterous medieval wooga-wooga known as homeopathy. I don't care if, by the homeopathic principle of similarity, your homeopath prescribes French burnt peanuts because they look like the novel coronavirus.

Because it's 2021, you're capable of consecutive reasoning, the evidence is there for the evaluating, and you still have chosen the path of idiocy. And lied about your choice.

I mean he did say he felt it was a personal choice and that he didn't think people should need to share their medical history so............

0f all the reasons to hate Rodgers after this offseason it's kinda **** up the fact he's unvaxinated is what has finally pushed people over the edge. (and no the "its because he lied" reason doesn't fly because everyone flipping out would simply be pissed the moment they heard unvaxxed)

I've been as hard on Rodgers as anyone since the offseason but God damn if the authoritarians on here don't need to take a step back from the ledge

We're going to see some bone headed rookie plays. Hopefully we see him flash enough to feel comfortable about the future.

I'd expect a huge day from Jones/Dillon
