Damien Martinez and Skattebo look like great late round options. Tahj Brooks looks like Josh Jacobs light. I know we drafted Lloyd last year but I just don't trust him to stay healthy and he has issues with fumbling the ball.

This is a great RB class. As someone whose very much into a Dynasty league for fantasy I'm very excited. I'd be pretty surprised if Green Bay took one though. I'm not the biggest fan of Lloyd but I don't think Green Bay will give up on him after a year, plus you have Wilson & Brooks who were solid backups last year. I cant see them adding a 5th guy to seriously compete

Jaydon Blue is a guy I hope they consider. Perfect complimentary back and gadget guy for MLF to revive Swervin Ervin role

Don't love Egbuka but he'd be better than anyone they currently have.

I like Egbuka, but I love Jeremiah Smith.

If there is anyway we can get him in two years I would love it. Egbuka is solid, Jeremiah Smith (barring injury) is going to be elite.

I like Egbuka, he’s the 3rd best WR in this class which isn’t all that impressive but still really good. If we took him over Luther I’d be pretty bummed out but I’d live.

Jeremiah Smith is incredible. He’s a top 3-5 pick when he declares, we’ll never have a shot at him unless Love turns into Ryan Leaf tho.

Justin Jefferson was the "3rd best WR" in his class too (well, 5th if you wanna go by actual draft order). Since there's no Jamarr Chase/Marvin Harrison Jr. prospect in this class, I think it's really a matter of preference. McMillan is the freak physical tools dude, Golden is the absolute track-star burner guy, and Egbuka seems like the all-around, route-running magician/hands team guy. Would love any of them, but I imagine anyone who's been obsessed over the "we need an ALPHA wideout" thing would be absolutely in love with Egbuka.

This has been a solid series to listen to on podcast.

;ab_channel=Yahoo%21Sports

I think it's been a little thin on day two guys and heavy on first rounders that everyone knows about, but still worth a listen. Tice and his guests know their stuff.

Just started this WR episode but I'm sure it's worth listening to.

Highly agree, Nate Tice has been killing it with this series. A ton of good information and reasoning

I don't really care about the Combine anymore, but it's interesting about what they discussed with Burden and how he was clearly dogging it during certain route drills because that was maybe one of my only takeaways. I just thought it was weird.

Based on the discussion above it sounds like Bond off a lot of boards and worse than Burton last year from a character perspective.

First mock in a while.

Most of my targets were gone so took a trade down at 23.

23 to KC

31, 63, 2026 5th to GB

31. Kenneth Grant - DT/NT
54. Princely Umanmielen - DE/EDGE
63. Azareye'h Thomas - CB
87. Tai Felton - WR
124. CJ West - NT
159. Miles Frazier - IOL
198. Jah Joyner - EDGE/DE
237. Kurtis Rourke - QB
250 Bru McCoy - WR

Overall happy with this. Would think it might be a bit too heavy on DL, but maybe not. Ideally would have made a trade for a TE. West and Joyner feel like really go values that late.

23. Green Bay Packers - Mykel Williams, OLB, Georgia
The Packers had 45 sacks last season (tied for eighth), but that's a little misleading. They were really good at converting pressure into sacks, but they got pressure only 29.8% of the time (22nd). Williams was hindered by an ankle injury in 2024, which kept him to five sacks over 12 games. But he has the explosive traits to be an extremely effective edge rusher. Other spots of interest would be receiver and cornerback, so expect Green Bay to take a look at guys like Emeka Egbuka or Kentucky corner Maxwell Hairston, too.

54. Green Bay Packers - Jack Bech, WR, TCU
Bech was great during Senior Bowl week, and he finished the 2024 season with 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns. The Packers' offense likes to distribute the ball to multiple pass catchers, with three wideouts -- Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks and Jayden Reed -- seeing at least 70 targets. Bech would be another reliable playmaker in the mix.

For the life of me I don't understand why Jalon Walker and Jihaad Campbell are consensus top 20 picks.

Jack Bech is legit. He’d be a real nice 2nd round pick if we don’t go WR in round 1. I’d still personally rather roll the dice on Luther Burden at 23 but I know I’m in the minority there. Egbuka would be a solid consolation prize tho. WR is definitely a major need, I don’t want to hear anything about spreading the ball around or we don’t need a WR1, that’s BS. Our best WR probably doesn’t even rank in the top 40 at the position currently, that’s a major problem. Whoever it is doesn’t have to be 2020-2021 Davante Adams from the start but we need a star playmaker to throw the ball to.

Another tackle in for a visit:

Tackle John Williams, Cincinnati, 6-4, 322 pounds
Combine: 5.17-second 40-yard dash, 7.93-second three-cone, 29 reps on the 225-pound bench press.

Bio: Another massively built offensive lineman has drawn the interest of the Packers. A Bolingbrook, Ill., native, Williams became a full-time starter at left tackle his junior year and anchored the offensive line his final two seasons. He may wind up being a guard, although he’s got long enough arms and enormous hands, which are typical of a left tackle prospect. Cincinnati ran a balanced offense, but Williams’ strength was pass-blocking. Most likely a third-day pick.
