It's a sport where **** tons of dudes get hurt every single year, that's just part of the sport. So yeah you will sometimes play an opponent decimated by injuries but every team does that and it's just part of the deal. Is there luck involved, hell yeah there is and luck plays a bigger part in all sports outcomes than our modern 'analyze everything' minds like to believe.

In 2019 our record was definitely better than what we were, 13-3, didn't we lose to the Charges like 30-10 and were never in the game? Then obviously got crushed in the NFC Championship by the 49ers.

I'll give people 2019 given the offense was pretty mediocre, but to act like we weren't prohibitive SB favorites going into the playoffs the previous 2 seasons is a weird way to look back on those teams and is the literal definition of "under-achieving" given the subsequent faceplants against TB and San Fran. You could make an easy argument that LA was like, the 4th-5th best team last season yet they won it all. That's just the nature of single elimination playoffs.
