Restrepo signing with Titans makes a lot of sense

Why are people still talking about Sanders? With all the talk i'm seeing you'd think he was a generational prospect lol.

I mean I get it, he's a big name, and it's maybe the biggest QB slide we've ever seen in the draft.

I know it's a forlorn hope, but I don't ever want to hear another **** word about Shedur Sanders. JFC, what a pile of overkill coverage

No one else gets it. What exactly is the reason anyone is talking about Sanders or Bronny James. Both could make their way without the obstacles thrown up by too-enthusiastic 'coaches'.

If Deion wasn't his dad, I'd bet he goes day 2, but he also never gets hyped up as a potential top 10 pick

I do too. Just such a weird thing. It’s probably a more nuanced reason that is beyond my understanding so I’ll just say I hope he does well and will go back into my non packer coma.

That **** always gets in the way; both those Dads should know better. Setting them up for so-called failure. Relying on external validation instead of who you know you are & what you can leave out on the field. Like they don't have the chops to thrive under the tutelage of any legendary coach they want? Bad judgement all the way around, an order of magnitude worse than Thanasis on the end of the bench. (Did Archie coach the Mannings?) Real indicator of poor basketball and football judgment in general.

To be fair to Mel, all I've heard for the last five years or so is how no one saw Josh Allen coming. Mina Kimes, Bomani Jones, Foxworth, and a while bunch of others were loud wrong about him during the draft and after. Mel's the only one who had him #1 overall throughout the entire process.

That's not the point of the post. Yes, teams and individuals will get some things wrong and get some things right.

Kiper was ranting that the NFL was "clueless at evaluating quarterbacks" (his exact words in the below clip). The graphic above shows he isn't some great authority on the subject either.

Even discounting the number of times Kiper has been wrong about QBs (there been a lot) his entire argument about why the "NFL is clueless on evaluating QBs" is just monumentaly stupid.

"Here's a list of 5 QBs that proves they don't know how to draft QBs"........Uhmmmm so??? So are we just gonna say that about every position since it becomes even easier to come up with a list of All Pros at litterally every other position drafted in later rounds over the last 40 years.

For **** sake he's bringing up Boomer and I won't even touch on how many times he tried comparing him to Brady

Packers gave S Johnathan Baldwin 115k to sign. A pretty substantial amount. I don't really see a path to him making the 53 unless there are injuries but you never know. Last year at UNLV he had 3 INT, 14 passes defensed, 3.5 sacks, & 9 TFL. Tested poorly at the combine so that might be why he went undrafted.

They brought in a solid group of UDFA's this year. I could see a few of these guys making the 53. Nazir Stackhouse and Jamon Johnson are the big names on that list but I really like Amar Johnson from South Dakota State. Fast, physical and runs with good balance.

Baldwin, Dumas-Johnson, & Stackhouse seem to have the most realistic paths to the 53 man roster. I do like Amar Johnson too, but I'd guess he's more of a PS guy considering how deep at RB Green Bay is
