He’s a monster with injury flags? Can someone indulge me please? Sell me Terrell Lewis and consider it a warm sales call.

It's not even worth entertaining the thought. They're already stacked with enormous money invested in edge dudes.

Mea culpa, here. That's weird, I guess. I'm thinking it's in case he drops to them in the second since he isn't being mocked in the first. I guess I wouldn't hate it, but he was a one year wonder and he's got an ACL tear in his past. That said, he is one of those edge freak kind of guys, so you hope for the best.

I think he didn't catch 50% of his targets. As in there were overthrows, uncatchable balls, etc.

Yeah, that makes more sense. I was wondering how he was projected in the first. Basically the wr version of Love.

You guys put way too much stock in those things for first round prospects. Due diligence is the phrase to remember. The Packers have drafted just as many, and I believe more early round guys who they never met with. Later round prospects are a different story.

I have not done my research compared to other years but wanted your guys take.

Round 1.....Patrick Queen or one of the top WR's
Round 2.....Trade up for Taylor or Swift?

LB, WR and OL in the first 3 rounds? Unless we can get one of those RB's

Granted I haven’t seen Lewis mocked in the 1st round, I’ve consistently seen mocks with him as a 2nd and early 3rd round prospect. Maybe I shouldn’t have said “30th pick” I got a little excited but if that’s our guy and signs point towards us really liking him, maybe it’s a King situation where our 1st pick is in the 2nd round and we take Lewis. Does that scenario seem more realistic for you?

All my point was is that I don’t know much about Lewis and there’s clearly interest there from GB and I was surprised like RS thinking no way we need another edge rusher. BUT, Lewis looks like an absolute monster on tape from last year so I wanted popular opinion on him.

I'm taking Patrick, I think. WR should be able to hold in the second and still get a quality or move up slightly and get the guy you want.

I'm not trading up for a RB because there are quite a few guys I really like in this draft and I think would be available later, or that even the headliners drop.

Frankly, I'm really hoping we trade back, get an additional 3rd (maybe we send out Lane Taylor?) and walk away with something like;
Reagor/Ayuik/Mims
Clyde EH/or if one of the Dobbins/Taylor/Swift guys fall
Logan Wilson/Malik Harrison/Willie Gay Jr.
Albert O (only TE prospect I would want in this draft because of his physical abilities) or any OL that is a starter this year or next year to alleviate some of the extensions we are going to need to give out.

That solves a lot of problems for this team in the first three rounds.

I would pick Patrick Queen in the first, but then a WR in the 2nd. I don't want to wait until the 3rd to get a WR.

Yeah I think the type of WR we need, if they are going to have an immediate impact, we need to draft by the 2nd. Otherwise you have a lot of guys that might need a year or two to develop and not sure we have that kind of time. We don't have 2 years to figure out if the J'mon Moores of the world translate to the NFL.

Quez Watkins looks like an intriguing late round pick.

Packers meeting with Dobbins. Won’t lie I’ve ignored him quite a bit. Between my infatuation with D’Andre Swift and Zack Moss and everyone else’s infatuation with Jon Taylor, Dobbins was the odd man out for me. Very fitting he’s the 1 that gets the Packers attention... gonna have to watch some Ohio State highlights now.

What does anyone think about him? Seems like the consensus 3rd best RB in the class but all 3 have big time potential. Similar to the WR group in that regard I suppose.

Trade Lane Taylor for a 3rd would be a pipe dream, as is my fun prediction below.

(LB) Queen in 1st
(WR) Auyiak, Mims or Raegor in 2nd
(DL) Raekwon Davis in Late 2nd/Early 3rd
(OL) Tyler Biadaz in 3rd

Seeing what you guys are saying. Unless something crazy in the draft, interchangeable LB/WR in first 2 rounds or bust.

I've watched about 15 minutes of him...feels very MVS to me, like very much so. And I am talking about the guy we see out there on the field last season, but you can't teach that kind of speed.

It really feels that way to me, of course you never know how it will play out. But it is like the LB seem to fall into 1 or 3. The WR seem to fall into 1 or 2. The OL seems to depend what you are looking for, but interior OL feels like the 3rd or 4th. RB 2, 3, or 4, with some nice developmental lottery tickets into the 5th.

Gadget player or developmental OT in the 5th.

All that to say, there is a way to fill the most immediate needs on this team, in this draft. It has depth at everything we really need, which is why I lean toward trading down. I think if you either get two teams wanting that 5th year option on a QB that drops OR you trade down and include Taylor, you might be able to scratch out that extra third round pick, which would be massive. You could likely fill your start ILB or C/G of the future with that pick.

I don’t care what order, but I feel in the first three rounds they need to come away with a DT, WR, and ILB. I can live with OL until the 4th unless there is someone they are 100% sure wasn’t going to be available when their pick comes up.

I agree with most being posted on what positions should be addressed early but I'd also be perfectly fine with an OT round 1. Have to have a good oline and Wagner is nothing more than a stop gap at RT. Also if a real bad ass DL was there I'd be fine with that too.

As much as i would want murray or queen at 30(have a feeling this board is more pro queen than murray) i dont think either one has a shot in hell of being there at 30 and i think both the saints n ravens will draft one or the other.
Saying that i will say wr at 30 and maybe a trade up in round 2 for another stud skill position player for the O then DT lb ot DBs

Think Pittman is going to be the Micheal Thomas of this draft. Will be available later than he should due to sun par 40. Pittman has had all of 6 drops in his 3 year college career. Elite short area quickness with advanced route running. I take the best MLB or DL available in the first. Then trade up to top of second grab Pittman. Also really believe Orr will be a great value in later rounds. Even though I know I am wearing badger goggles I just love his intensity. Guys a playmaker and someone who attacks the play.
