Funny enough that's exactly how I feel about tight end lol

That's fair, but to me the difference is this: If Will Anderson fell to #15 (or #13), of course I'm taking him, regardless of class depth. He's special.

I think Kincaid may be the that for TEs. You'll get a good one in round two most likely, but if you want a special one you won't be able to last that long.

I think Van Ness is going to be a monster. I just think while edge is deep there is a drop off.

I like Van Ness quite a bit more than most other Edge guys. Whereas to me no tight end really stands out, Washington is my favorite but not by a huge margin

I agree and would love him at 15 (or 13)

No doubt he was closer to a 4.6. Pro day times are dubious at best.

Yeah, I think his play is probably more Keenan Allen in the pros. That 4.53-4.6 range should be more than enough speed given his short area / agility measures.

I did a new mock with the Jets Two 2nd Round Picks

1st: WR .....Quentin Johnson ........TCU
2nd: T ......DaWand Jones .........Ohio ST
2nd: DE .....Felix Uzomah .........Kansas ST
2nd: TE .....Darnell Washington .......Georgia
3rd: QB .....Tanner McKee .........Stanford

Wouldn't mind something like this.

I also took a stab at it.

Not sure why the Eagles are trading up, but moved back to the end of the first.

Question:

If we had the #1 pick in this draft what would you guys do?

Try and trade out of it and collect as much as I could like the Bears did.

Trading down would be my call, too. And that's pretty much always going to be my call with the first pick unless there's a can't-miss QB prospect and I'm in need of one.

I don't think there's a QB in this draft I'd rather have on the roster than Love at this point, just with Love's tools and the time he's had to grow behind Rodgers.

If we didn't have Love, I'd still trade down, to be clear, if only because I don't believe any of these QB's are can't-miss. I like Young and Stroud, but I'd rather take the Bears package over drafting them. I also think Richardson and Levis are being heavily overvalued in this draft, FWIW.

Not testing at all before the draft could certainly hurt his draft stock

Would love it if we could land Van Ness and Kincaid somehow.
