Sure, but the most important spot is a shot show. Walker/Nijman both have sucked. Myers has also been atrocious and you could argue the same for Runyan.

No accounting for 1 guy behind an elite offensive line and the other behind an inexperienced patchwork work in progress.
The inexperienced offensive line with 163 starts between them?
Nice try. Eagles offensive line ranked #4. We're ranked 20th.

Keep hating though. Pretty sure you hated Rodgers last year too. It's easy to hate QBs.

I have no idea what you think you were responding to, but it wasn't anything I said.

I always know who to tune out and ignore when they resort to, "You're a hater." As if there's literally nothing else to point to.

Love is showing the flashes I’d hoped to see. Another few weeks to keep building chemistry and an off-season with the young ones and I think we are going to hit the ground like a rocket ship.

Jones basically being out the entire year makes the offense just not good. Dudes been our best offensive player when healthy for like 3 or 4 years.

I did not realize the massive split in Love's numbers when playing against man & playing against zone

Love looked much improved today, good decision making all around. What is the deal with the deep ball though? Not setting his feet or what? If he starts hitting those, look out.

With those stats in mind, what coverages did the Lions run most often today?

If he hit some of those deep balls in stride he'd have MVP numbers

Re: Jordan Love Thread - All Aboard the Love Train
He too often throws his deep balls off his back foot, or tries to finesse them, instead of stepping into the throw and launching a frozen rope. He definitely has the arm strength to hit them, but between his footwork and his lack of confidence in his accuracy, he too often ends up missing them.
Until he can improve that accuracy and hit those deep throws in a way that allows his receivers to catch them in stride, his ceiling won't be high enough to make him a franchise QB.

Hopefully, it is just a reps and overall experience thing. He obviously has the arm to make better throws. The first play to Watson was about 60 yards in the air, but if he throws it 70, that is a walk in TD. The last throw to Watson is probably the best example because he fell backwards and threw it extremely short when he could have planted and taken a bit of a hit but gotten a lot more air under it for what could have been a game ending completion. Instead, it was a wounded duck with no chance of a completion, and I don't even think he ended up getting hit.
Still, you have to be extremely encouraged about his overall play along with his poise and ability to improvise when needed. He seems to be reading defenses very well and made a number of very difficult throws today from a bunch of different arm angles. Perhaps his deep throw will come to him as he continues to master the other aspects of his game.

Time to start arguing extension numbers? Or maybe wait for a few bad games and then try to buy low?
Edit: Being a tad facetious, if it's not obvious. It's been a wild ride so far.

Re: Jordan Love Thread - All Aboard the Love Train
I'd like to go through the season and look at the deep ball TD's that were wide open. If he even hits on half of them, his QB rating is over 90 right and his TD/INT ratio is over 2/1 now even with everything else.
That's still his biggest weakness. He has either left too much air under the ball (first throw to Watson yesterday one example) or put too much heat on the pass (missed 83 yarder to Musgrave last week one of several).
I feel like his play on short and intermediary throws has been great and he is also staying the pocket longer now than he did 5 games ago. Same as I said with Watson, he needs to keep stacking these games. KC is another tough D coming up.
