I don't know if it's true so much that Ted doesn't value the ILB spot. My thought is that it's more he's poorly evaluated the position on our team.

Look at how much cash he paid Hawk in the contract extension which left many scratching their heads and then the money he paid Brad Jones. So the way i see it is that one reason why Ted hasn't invested say 1st to 3rd round picks at the ILB position is that for some bizarre line of thinking, he thought both of Hawk and Jones were good players.

Think about it with Hawk. While many Packer fans were wanting him replaced for years, Ted instead thought Hawk was such a quality ILB that he gave AJ a 35 million dollar extension.

I beg to differ, basketball ball players can tackle.

I don't know anything about this year's class but I love picking back to back defensive backs, especially after losing Tramon. I wonder if they are worried about Hayward. I would love it if we were stacked in the secondary.

This guy's tape is extremely impressive. Quite frankly, I love it when TT pulls a fast one on us & picks a small school guy. He's had some pretty good success with this type of player.

He is definitely the biggest boom/bust player. I am thinking we may have lucked out in the fact that he only played one year so other teams didn't touch him.

Is it just me or does this dude look really thick for a DB? His legs look huge in some of the film I've seen of him.

Love the two first rounders. Both guys seem like they have very good ball skills. Hopefully we can make QBs pay when they make mistakes.

I think we're hoping that QBs don't have to make mistakes to get TOs. They have great anticipation and know where the ball is going.

Reading up this morning on him a little more. I honestly think he may be the outside guy were looking for with Hyde shifting to a rover MLB/S position. One thing is for certain. Its going to be very hard to throw into these guys.

The knock on him going in was he often got too big and lost athleticism.

I like Rollins much better then Randle. But simply not a fan of going back to back on CBs. Would have loved this pick if we take Kendricks or Brown in the first

After watching all this guy's highlight reels, I can say that he's got the biggest ass of any CB I've ever seen.

The thing I noticed most from his vids is that he hits the hole for a tackle really hard and with zero hesitation. And yes, he's thick as hell.

Laugh all you want, it's true. Check this out, it even forced a fumble against Michigan:

You are proven correct. Those are fumble creating cheeks.

He'll end up being the best pick in this draft for the Pack. LIke him a lot - big hitter and goes after the ball. A natural athlete. When he picks up the defense watch out he will be a star. Plays faster than his 40 time.

I'm telling you right now - this guy is going to be the real deal. Favorite pick of the draft. The combination of hitting and ball hawking he will have impact - not sure if he will be ready rookie year or it will take two, but this player will be special. He just flies out at you on tape.

Was just listening to the cff cb podcast and they only mentioned him for a minute but said while raw could be the best cb in the draft. Liked his athleticism and aggressiveness.

I see him as a safety. Him and HaHa would be a crazy talented duo going forward.

A passing downs package of:

Haha(FS) - Rollins(SS or two deep with Haha)
Randall(LCB) - Hayward(slot) - Burnett(covering the TE) - Hyde(slot if 4 WR or RB) - Shields(RCB)

wowzers. I could honestly see that being the dime package minus Burnett eventually.
