Bears are actually gonna ruin the dude, that offensive line is among the worst in the league and Williams is far worse than advertised. Take victory laps

I know so far he's looked subpar and they're facing mediocre teams in week 1 and 2....just saying that's a great hypothetical.
I'm torn on Fields, yes it would be funny if he was good for Pitts but it would also validate the 'Fields is good' bears fan truthers who were super annoying last year.

Fields has put up two Malik Willis level performances in back to back weeks and people are acting likes he's doing something special. I do not understand it

Re caleb, on one hand, his oline and protection schemes are next level bad, on the other hand, he’s been bad even when he gets time.

He isn't good, no way around it. They are cooked this season because Caleb will be bad and the oline is wtf bad. Great defense they have gotta say

For the Packers, at QB, one success leads to another leads to another, because they can bring the new guy along gradually.

For the Bears, at QB, one failure leads to another leads to another, because they can't bring the new guy along gradually.

I noticed in the first half that even when Caleb Williams was completing 80% of his passes he still around 100 yards total for the half. Doesn't seem like he's able to throw downfield at all.

Caleb Williams is unsurprisingly next level bad
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

He's fairly elusive at avoiding sacks, but then, so is Justin Fields. But that hasn't gotten Fields very far, so.....

2 games so I'll give him some time
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He took 7 (seven) sacks today.

Fields took a lot of sacks too. Led the league in 2022. It's just not possible to avoid sacks purely on elusiveness. You need to get the ball out quicker

I've seen Fields actually throw over lineman without needing to jump

Just came to say contract the Bears. **** up a generational QB talent due to a lack of preparedness on every scale is unforgivable.

Even before they drafted him, I only half-jokingly said that if anyone could **** up arguably the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck, it'd be the Bears. Well.....

He's been so bad that he really didn't give them a choice.

That's a rough rough call for Young, but he's been atrocious. I don't know if his career is over, but his tenure in Carolina almost certainly is.
