I think there is an argument to be made that Oregon would be better off losing Saturday and getting the 5 seed rather than being the 1 seed and that shouldn't happen.

I see that point, playing 12 and then the weakest conference champion. But you do get a bye and that's important too.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

? There's no argument that a bye is a worse outcome.

Getting something like Arizona St at home and then Boise St on a neutral site is probably an easier path to the semis than facing Ohio St or Georgia in the 1/8 matchup. I don't see what the argument would be against reseeding after the 1st round

The bye definitely helps. I'm all for giving the bye to conference champions. Just don't see what the argument is against reseeding after the 1st round.

I think Oregon takes care of Penn State but I'm not sure what to think about Georgia/Texas. Georgia is not the dominant team as in years past but they did go to Texas and whip them.

Bill Belicheck interviewing for the UNC job is weird from every angle.

Sounds like both sides want some publicity. Bill wants everyone to know he still wants to coach.

Very cool moments tonight

1st for Boise St, winning the MWC and likely securing a CFP berth and a 1st round bye

2nd for Army for winning the AAC in their 1st season in the conference

I'm not sure if this is a hot take but imo neither Boise St or Arizona St should be the 12 seed. Both deserve better. The 12 seed should be Alabama or Clemson(if Clemson upsets SMU)

Go ASU! My wife's an alumi, I always felt they were a massively underachieving program. Good local talent, CA next door, party school, warm weather, ect. It's a place you should be able to recruit at.

If Carson Beck is hurt then Georgia misses the CFP right(assuming they lose)?

That's the precedent that was set last year
