I actually think if we win the super bowl Rodgers might hang them up. If love shows anything in a few starts you are probably thinking extension more than trade.

I guess maybe, and with Rodgers personality anything is possible but I really think he tries to play like 5 more years.

The 5th year option is so expensive you can't really pick it up. And if I'm love I'd test FA before considering taking back up money from GB. At some point he's going to want at least a shot at starting.

Wow, nice! I hope I'm wrong about him never being the same player again.

From Packers.com

The Green Bay Packers have released C Ty Clary and LB Chauncey Manac (muh-NACK). General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Sunday.

Sorry boys, that's the first time I've seen your names. Good luck.

Feels like Watkins, Cobb, Lazard, Winfree, Doubs, and Watson are locks to make it. Amari gets that 7th spot if he can keep improving as a returner.

Unless they start giving someone else game reps asap, Amari wins that by default I guess. I don't think Winfree is a lock though. OL and DL has some pretty tough cuts

I'd just use Cobb as the returner and move on from Rodgers. No reason to have to waste a roster and then a game day active spot on him.

I'd be fine if they cut ties with Rodgers. Hasn't really shown anything

Amari hasn't shown me anything. I don't trust him at all in the return game and he hasn't established himself as a reciever or a runner on those jet sweeps. He's a liability out there.

I don't think I've ever been as quick to be out on a guy's NFL prospects as I was with Amari last season, at least amongst guys that were Day 2 picks. Second he stepped on the field it was clear as day he didn't have NFL caliber speed/athleticism, and at his size, that's a death sentence. Really don't see any point in keeping him around.

I'd give Amari another year. From all appearances the org thinks/wants him to be the dedicated return man which as we all know has been a bit of a disaster. Then again anyone we put back there seems to suck it up. The blockers sure as hell don't do the returners any favors. The fact Amari can't get out there as a receiver is a pretty big red flag though.

Good for the defense, but getting a bit worrisome about the state of the O Line.

I'm too lazy to look it up. But isn't this basically the same OL we used when Jenkins went down and it did pretty well? Sounds like they've been horrid so far this camp.

Hanson didn't sniff playing time as I recall and he seems like an obvious weak spot so far
