Go get a corner or a big dude for the interior

Fear Deguara is a health time bomb, so...

Yep...if I knew Deguara could stay healthy then I'm good...but he scares me. Some if the tight ends being mentioned are no better than Mercedes Lewis.

I'd like Engram or Njoku cuz they can stretch the field. The rest are just meh.

Is Njoku even available anymore? He's been solid and Cleveland is fighting for a playoff berth so I'd imagine they'd be buyers, not sellers. I'd take a guy like Akins if the price is cheap enough. No thanks to shelling out a Day 2 pick for Engram. Dude can't block and is overrated as hell.

Go get Engram or Hurst. No reason to half ass this thing.

Engram would be nice. Hurst I’m not sure would be an upgrade for us

Engram seems to have a lot in common with a young Jared Cook, could easily see his best days are down the backhalf of the career. I'm interested, he could replace the downfield aspects of Bobby.

I don't understand why Packers keep getting linked to random WRs today, unless they're already looking for an Adams replacement.

I figured when he was inactive on Thursday that he was toast.

Couldn't diagnose a play to save his life. Not surprised

He might not be long for the NFL period if he can't play any better than he showed here.

1 combined tackle in 27 defensive snaps for a linebacker.....yeah, he was garbage.

Smith is more name than game at this point. Happens fast in the NFL.

A year or whatever ago, we'd all be stoked to have Smith on a contract that probably tied him to GB. Since then Gute's signed the NFL's highest graded off ball linebacker in Campbell, and his street signing of Douglas has obviously looked brilliant after a couple games.

Evan Engram ran a 4.42. If we can get him cheap I think we’ll look past his blocking.
Look back at how well Jared Cook did with Rodgers.

As far as the Chiefs individual moves I'm sure they have made mistakes but I actually don't hate their strategy of selling out for a couple seasons while they could use cap gymnastics to keep Mahomes number low. It was basically the only window to do that they will have for a decade. You do this knowing you'll eventually pay the piper and have a year or two of cap hell. But Mahomes is young enough to go through that cycle and be part of the next build. Now if you don't execute that plan and aren't actually good pre cap hell then it could kill you for multiple seasons. You'll hear plenty of 'wasting Mahomes prime' noise but you'd hear that too if you take the TT more long term route.

Either strategy can work but if you don't execute it's always 'wasting prime' talk.

Team building and winning SBs is hard contrary to what you might hear from internet GMs :)

If the price for Engram is a 5th, that's a no brainer for me.
