The cut deadline is 3:00 but we'll be hearing names all day.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

All the Packers had to do was beat a 6th and 7th.

Is Shenault even worth a 5th rounder? His yards-per-touch through two seasons (8.9) is equal to Randall Cobb's career worst mark (2017). He's a name that I really liked during the pre-draft process, but he hasn't looked explosive at all in the pros.

You'd have to trust your scouting, given he was in one of the worst situations in the league.

Winfree was waived.

Winfree was kind of surprise given the praise from Rodgers. But, really didn't see anything he did that stood out.

Was hoping he'd make it onto the team, but I'm also not studying special teams.

Waiving Winfree probably means they're keeping Rogers. IMO, thats settling for a guy who has mediocre skills as a utility player

If they're hopeful they can get Winfree and Goodson on the practice squad then it makes sense. If not, I'm very surprised/bummed by both of those cuts.

I don't think many teams are in the market for RB, they all have their own guys they love. Winfree to me is just a guy, I think in reality it was never a Amari or Winfree, it was always Toure or Winfree. Especially with some of the OL question marks, I think they are going to be keeping a lot of OL.

With the Shenault rumor, I'm guessing we still find a WR via trade or sign. Josh Gordon anyone?

Goodson was not good on ST, that was probably the deciding factor.

Yep, they're not going to carry a 3rd RB who can't cut it on special teams, especially with Kylin Hill set to potentially return after a few games.

I cant see Rodgers ever trusting a guy like Gordon and frankly I'd rather have Doubs out there anyway.

With PS players eligible to be active for three games, could be they felt like they had a good chance to get him on the PS and could basically keep him active until Hill is back.

Yeah, I'm sure if he gets through waivers he'll stick around and tbh he will probably get through. Teams just aren't out there clamoring for guys like Goodson, as difficult as that is for some Packers fans to believe.
