Dallas' Board

so someone leaked a photo, and apparently a video, of jerry jones in front of the dallas cowboys draft board during the draft april 24th. i think it's a great clue in on the way teams work inside. some people pieced together what they could see on the video, with microscopes and tweezers, but i'm too lazy to post anything other than this link:

http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins ... joe-h.html

but some interesting things are that on THEIR board, they had dez bryant and sean lee ranked 11 and 14 respectively, and got them at 24 and 55 respectively. pretty awesome if you're in the war room. the board is apparently incomplete, but from what the tweezers-and-scopes guys came up with, they had bulaga at 13 and burnett at around 39 (citation needed)---they also had mike neal at about where we selected burnett.

It's certainly interesting to see an actual draft board on display.

As for the player ratings I imagine that any given team's draft board could have players graded at a round lower or higher than where they were picked. I'm sure there are a wide range of opinions on most of these guys outside of the can't miss prospects.

Haha, I just had a funny thought. If Ted Thompson's board was caught on broadcast... the person who caught it would be shot and buried under one of the end zones in Lambeau.

Great stuff.

They had Anthony Davis and Patrick Robinson with third-round grades.
