if i were a usc fan i wouldn't be too upset. none of this will diminish the fun they had during those seasons.

The problem is, none of that winning actually happened. It's wiped from the books.

It's the same as the Gophers getting their Final 4 banner taking down after the academic fraud. Minny fans still say they made it, but nobody else is going to agree.

If I'm the fan of a team, I don't want to have to debate if something actually happened or not with another fanbase.
