I wonder if half of those people really believe what they post.

All of the other crap that was posted aside, the "fat" thing never ceases to confuse me, and it's never more rabidly apparent than it is in news stories that come from that site for some reason. As has been for a long time now, Wisconsin once again is middle-of-the-pack (I think literally 25th this year) when it comes to being fittest/fattest. Minnesota ranks a bit better but it's usually not by much. If they don't think their state has their plentiful share of fatties they're delusional.
EDIT: Okay, I know they're delusional regardless.

8,000 new seats? Maybe I'll get my season tickets at age 70 instead of 80 now!

When my son was born, 1995, I put him on the waiting list the same day. He was 30,000+ something. After the Lambeau renovation he dropped down to around 14,000. Lots of people/businesses controlled 100+ tickets and they couldn't afford the seat license. Plus there were some additional seats added, although I think many of those go to Brown County residents. I would think the additional 8,000 would all go to people on the list. I think you can get 4 (or is it 2?) when your name comes up. That will make 2,000 or 4,000 people very happy.

My late grandpa's name came up after the last renovation and unfortunately I was in college so had no money and my parents didn't have the upfront money needed for the season tickets, personal seat license, etc. It was a couple grand within a week or two period if I recall correctly. It s*cked but it was a big investment at the time, and the team was on the comedown from the Super Bowl teams -- so excitement wasn't as high. But I'll never have a chance again.
For some on the list, there may be hope with more seats and the economy has helped knock a few off of the list. In the past few years there has been the highest non-renewal rate in MANY years.

I forgot that tix are split into the two packages. So many more names could come off the list if they add 8,000 seats. I believe seat licenses are either $1400 or $600 depending on which package you get. Those numbers might be wrong, I don't have time to look it up.

And according to that analysis, Wisconsin is the 15th healthiest.
Boy are we all a bunch of obese fatties.http://calorielab.com/news/2010/06/28/f ... ates-2010/It's throwing stones from glass houses. It's seriously poor trash talk. That's all they can come up with? Turn an article about expanding Lambeau Field into 'lawl Green Bay iz fat'...?

Yeah that seems accurate b/c I think they wanted the $1400 for PSL and then the tickets for the following year all paid within a very small timeframe - which is understandable due to the demand. 2 seats at $59/ticket for 7 games (1 preseason/6 regular) is $826, so it would've been over $2200 --- yeah that seems about right. As a 18 year college student, didn't have that laying around, ha.

As far as I know, yes, it is a one time fee.

Yes it's a one time fee. Each new owner of a seat has to pay it.
