Have this as a matrix in Excel but can't get it to post w/ gridlines intact. so.....

did not rate drafts - just showing the raw numbers
how many players were selected
how many are still on team
how many so far are "star" quality

Hawks a below average starter drafted 5th overall.

I'd rate that pick as a D at best.

I also think its fair to grade Harrell also. Even though he has been hurt his whole career he ha injury concerns comin out of college that were ignored. Don't mean to nitpick, just trying to point out that Thompson as a drafter is a tad overrated.

Agree too high of a grade for Hawk, he has looked good this pre season and who knows he could have a great year in year 2 of the 3-4 but as of right now he doesn't deserve a B.

Raji also doesn't deserve a B, he barely played last year due to injuries, again he looks good in camp so far.

As much as I love Finley and I think he is going to be a fricken stud, he doesn't deserve an A just yet, he has really had one hell of a second half last year, I would give him a B but if he blows up and continues what he started in the second half of last year then he will definitely move into an A range.

As for TT being overrated as a drafter, I have to disagree, he has done very well finding talent in the middle rounds. To really compare him you would have to compare him to what other GMs are drafting. Just over 60% of his draft picks are on the team right now which is a pretty good rate.
