Supercontest/Online Betting Thread

The Las Vegas Hilton has a contest every year where you pick 5 NFL games a week against the spread. Best record at the end of the year wins a ton of money...entry fee is $1500. The same guy has won it two years in a row which is crazy. (I heard all of this from Bill Simmons)
I figured it'd be fun to play along just to see how I'd do. I'm also going to pick every game just for fun. I know there are a bunch of bettors here so feel free to make your own picks and at the end of each week I can update the standings and we can see who's the best. I'll try and post the same lines they use (if I can find them) so we all go off of the same thing.
Week 1 (Home team in CAPS)
SAINTS -5.5 vs. Vikings
NY GIANTS -7 vs. Panthers
Dolphins -3 vs. BILLS
Falcons -2.5 vs. STEELERS
BEARS -6.5 vs. Lions
PATRIOTS -4 vs. Bengals
BUCCANEERS -3 vs. Browns
JAGUARS -2.5 vs. Broncos
Colts -2.5 vs. TEXANS
TITANS -6 vs. Raiders
Packers -3 vs. EAGLES
49ers -3 vs. SEAHAWKS
Cardinals -4 vs. RAMS
Cowboys -3.5 vs. REDSKINS
NY JETS -2.5 vs. Ravens
Chargers -4.5 vs. CHIEFS
Do it.

What's the deadline for getting our picks in? Can we edit them after we submitted them. I'd like to change one of my picks but won't if we are unable to edit them.

Yeah, you can change 'em up until Sunday at noon and it's just for fun so it's not like I'll be checking to see if people edited anything.
Twirl I think you forgot to pick the Colts/Texans game. BTW why are the Colts only a 2.5 point favorite? If I had real money to burn I'd hammer the hell out of that.
The guy that won it last year went 53-29-3. Which averages to a little over 3 right per week. That seems somewhat doable...

I wouldn't be shocked if the Texans won that game. They've played the Colts pretty tough the past couple of years even though they've lost all four games, they've lost by a total of 21 points.

Yup. HOU had 4th quarter leads in both games last year.

Petyton doesn't lose in September or to the Texans.
Well I'm 0-1 already. Interesting because had we used updated lines the Saints would have been 4.5 point favorites instead of 5.5 and would have covered. Also they should have killed them.
And how freaking huge was that missed XP? If it's made the Vikings cover the 4.5. Don't mess with Vegas...
Wacky start!

Excuse me. I said I wouldn't be shocked. I wasn't confident in picking that game at all.
