After further film review, the NFL has credited Packers OLB Clay Matthews with three Week 1 sacks.

He was initially credited with two. Three marks a career high for the 2009 first-round pick. Along with Mario Williams, Brian Urlacher, and LaRon Landry, Matthews was among the NFL's most dominant defenders during Week 1.

Per rotoworld.

Any word on the ruling as to whether he'll be allowed to continue to have winged feet?

I knew I saw 3 when I was watching the game and couldn't figure out how the stats only said 2.

Rumor is that the NFL is looking into Clay Matthews actually being the son of God.

They will conduct tests seeing if he is able to walk on water later this week. They may also shoot him, bury him in a tomb and see if he comes back from the dead on Sunday to cripple Trent Edwards.

Only if he heals Edwards afterwards.

Then cripples him again.

Clay Matthews doesn't need hamstrings. His hamstrings need him.

This was interesting... :D

I didnt ever see this thread, and it was interesting that pretty much everybody was happy (maybe not happy but at least accepting) about it except one...

eagle13 wrote:both 3rds? TT is crazy! Damn. Always does something dumb.

Nevermind as I read further...

eagle13 wrote:well I was flat out wrong bout TT moving up. Great job TT!

Its not that I didn't like Matthews. I liked Clay alot and even spoke up about drafting him. But I was talking bout trading down and taking Clay and/or Oher. Raji was my choice to pick after trading down.

Not into it enuf to bother but interesting to consider who we might have got with traded pickx.
Loadholt? LB for Giants Sintcom?

It all worked out. Like I've said several times and think I was the first to say - this was TT's best draft.

Newz wrote:I love this trade. We got the NT we needed and now we got a linebacker who looks like he can really get after the QB and be a play maker... Those are two things that are essential to have in the 3-4 that we were lacking and we got them. I have always been a fan of TT, but today I have really liked his aggressive approach.

For him to give up that much for the guy must mean he really likes him... I think our defensive has a chance to be pretty solid next year.

8-)

Giving new meaning to ''contributing to a thread'',you are a very very sick man Twirl.

Along similar lines I guess, could you imagine if Charles Woodson & Clay Matthews had a kid?

:o

based on this picture Woodson might be expecting,Clay Matthews' power is so great he is able to impregnate men with a single hug.

What are the odds Clay ends up with 6 sacks after week 2 against an even worse oline? I say 50-50. Has a team ever had two different dpoy winners in two consecutive seasons? If not, get ready to witness it.

Oh and The Witness name tag I believe will soon be taken away from LBJ by the Packers so suck it Lebron.
