Going to the NFL early because he is too dominate for college.

He was out last week too. Fowler said he's out so I could still be wrong I guess.

Why is he even wasting his time going to the NFL? Shouldn't he just go straight to the HOF?

If we play like the last two weeks is this a 10 point loss.

Maybe with Toon and Gilreath out we can just throw Borland in there at WR. I just hope Tolzien doesn't go down because it would be difficult for Borland to throw it to himself. Difficult but not impossible.
JSonline
So when Borland was preparing for his senior year at Archbishop Alter, he traveled to Madison for UW's summer camp.
"Wisconsin was my No. 1 choice at the time," he said, "but I didn't have an offer. So I wanted to come here and try to earn an offer."
He earned the scholarship offer with a remarkable three-day performance that showcased his athletic ability and versatility.
UW coach Bret Bielema recalls that in addition to standing out as a linebacker on Day 1, Borland punted four times, each about 50 yards.
On Day 2, the coaches wanted to look at kickers.
"Guess who shows up?" Bielema said. "Borland. Kicks like five or six field goals in a row. Last one was 35 yards."
On Day 3, the coaches needed players to catch passes from the quarterbacks. Borland showed up for work again.
"He catches like a 60-yard seam route, one-handed," Bielema said. "He catches it and starts running.
"He is special. He is very, very special. . . . That is the kind of kid you can build something around."
Seriously though. Did you guys see Borland catching punts one handed before the first game of the season? Unreal. The guy's like a walking Chuck Norris joke.

Nope.
If you would have said just against San Jose State, I would have agreed. That's an awful team that Bucky limped to a victory against at home.
However, if they play like they did against UNLV, even with the mistakes, it's a victory. They were up 41-14 on the road before calling off the dogs. They probably would have extended it further had they not began to tinker. #14 Utah "only" beat the same Rebel team at home by 28. That would imply that they played at least on par with a #14 team (it was a lot better if you factor in yardage disparities). So Arizona State on the road would have to likely at least play as well as a top 10 team to beat the Badgers with the same performance. Do you think the Sun Devils are a top 10 team? They weren't as bad as their record last season, but they'd have a long way to go to reach that level, and at this point they've proven basically nothing.
People's perceptions of how well/poorly Wisconsin has been playing is in part being distorted by preseason expectations. Even if they have exhibited an overall caliber below a top 10-15 or so team (which I don't necessarily agree with), then that still doesn't mean they are ripe for the picking to a mid level BCS program at home.
Anyways, I think a key to this game will be the effectiveness of Anderson, Abbrederis, Jefferson, and Garner at beating their men deep and staying oriented to the ball (a requisite note for the stone-handed Anderson). Even though Bucky's top two receivers are sidelined, there is a lot of speed among that group so their deep threat ability actually improves. And I think those are the type of passes we would have seen them throwing regardless off play action to take pressure off Clay/White/Ball and try to infuse some big plays to offset turnovers. This is still a very high potential offense.

Why does Ball get a carry ever?

Maybe next time Anderson can just run forward and get the first down instead of doing a jump step back a yard before turning up field and dancing around.

I understand putting ball in for a series or two but Clay was running great, no reason he needs a breather on the first series of the game.

Does anyone know what channel this is on. The channel it's supposed to be on is showing nothing but Jon Ritchies pedo-beard and I'm aggravated.

Man this is not looking good at all. Hard to believe this team is being considered for the top 10.

Well that's a break. Now we need to keep Clay in for a whole series.
