Unreal.
The whole injury thing is not going our way so far this season.

Hope Bigby is at or near 100% in 2 weeks and we are going to be hurting until then for sure.

Damn, relying on Martin? I don't like it. I haven't liked Bigby that much since he had his few good games in 2007. Peprah is hurt too. And I don't really want Woodson to play S. Injuries are a part of it in the NFL, just have to deal with it. Not good news.

Shift Jarrett Bush to safety if Shields is good to go?

That really sucks. Hope he doesn't lose a step after rehab cus his range is the best part of his game.

What are the rules about signing Blackmon after our injury settlement with him? I know they were playing him at safety in pre season action and he would improve our return game. Has to be better than Bush if he can stay healthy. I just don't know what the rules are in regards to how soon we can resign him, might be after week 6 like PUP.

Wouldn't be a bad addition for depth... Though Blackmon just isn't that good defensively.
Wouldn't mind having him if he could stay healthy to upgrade our return game though... And obviously be an emergency safety.

It was a 2 week injury settlement and you have to wait 6 weeks after that, so 8 weeks in total with Blackmon. I really don't think this injury is too bad since we do have experienced guys back there at least and still have Collins. I'm interested to see what Martin does with a few weeks of playing with the number one D and works out his communication issues. You know he is a sure tackler and has 4.4 speed.

I think every team has to figure on losing two starters during the course of a season.
We've now lost our two in Grant and Burnett so no room for error.

Trade for Ed Reed. We'll give them a 1st and also take jerrod's fandom in return.
