Thought we could change it up and allow the enemy to start the Badger game thread. Badgers are 22 point favorites. I'm going to call it a successful day if Minnesota can keep it within 3 tds. My prediction: Badgers 45, Gophers 20.

I will be on campus for this one. May or may not be going to the game, still have to figure that out. Looking forward to all of the pre game festivities and being boo'd every where I go.

It's sad when there is a major difference in picture quality when comparing the last time the Gophers won and the last time the Badgers won.

Badgers should win but it wouldn't surprise me if the Gophers kept it somewhat close.

Or am I underestimating just how bad Minnesota is?

My enthusiasm for this game is pretty much nil, given that we lost the MSU game and have no realistic shot at the Big Ten Title, along with Minny being awful. I'll watch it I guess. Badgers by more than two TD's.

It will be tough to give up 3 hours on a warm sunny October Saturday.

This is what is so tough about college football.

Your season ends with the first loss for all intents and purposes. It's really deflating. Especially this year, because the Big Ten looked so winnable. OSU looks good but undynamic, Michigan can't stop anyone, Penn State and Iowa are just okay. Honestly, I like MSU's chances to come out.

If there's an 8 or 16 team playoff, you can jump right back on board after that first loss and keep hope that things will turn around. The way things are, it's just over.

Two Minnesota Spirit Squad members were killed by a drunk driver on the way to Madison for this weekend's game. Minnesota has had a lot of tragedy this season. FB Jon Hoese's dad had a stroke 3 days before the Middle Tenn St game and then passed away a couple of days after Jon scored 3 TDs in the game. Then WR Connor Kosgrove (Kevin's son and Edgewood high school graduate) was diagnosed with leukemia.

Just an all around terrible year for the Gophers, both on the field and off the field.

I'd prefer 32 teams.

Shorten the season to 10 games. 2 Non conference games, 8 conference games. No polls until the 3rd or 4th week of the season.

A week break before the playoff spots. Higher seeds get home games until the National Championship.

Gophers are wearing white helmets tomorrow. I think they look pretty sick.

I wish I could get excited for this game, but just can't.

I'm always excited to give the Gophers a good beatdown. That will never get old.

I watch this every year before the UW-Minnesota game.

I probably won't be on tomorrow before I head to the game, so I needed to get my East Dakota shots in right now...
