Iowa's looked pretty impressive this year in wins over Penn St. and Michigan. Their one loss this year to a talented Arizona team, wasn't a huge surprise. They play Michigan St next week and then play OSU Nov. 20th.

The Badgers coming off their biggest win in probably a decade, against the formerly ranked #1 OSU will hopefully be ready to play the Hawkeyes, another one of the Big 10's elite.

Our secondary is going to have to keep their eyes on Derrel Johnson Koulianos, but the passing games will probably take a back seat to the Hawkeyes running game with Adam Robinson leading the charge.

We've basically been conditioned to never expect a win in Iowa. I expect that trend to continue.

Iowa 30
Wisconsin 21

I've got 21-17 predicted in Iowa's favor. I'll be in Iowa City.

Along with Kohout and Taylor (I think? - not positive). Three big losses if so.

We'll see if the offensive line can open up holes vs a good defense in back to back weeks.

BB says this morning that Toon will play

Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Wisconsin wide receiver Nick Toon, hampered by a severely bruised thigh suffered last week against Ohio State, reportedly will play against Iowa.

According to ABC-TV, UW coach Bret Bielema said Toon is ready to face the Hawkeyes. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and the game is to be televised by ABC.

Toon was limited in practice during the week and was limping noticeably Friday.

Toon, who missed three games after suffering a turf toe injury in the opener, is second on the team in receptions (17) and receiving yards (206). He had six receptions for 72 yards in the 31-18 victory over the Buckeyes.

Jay Valai shares my opinion...

"If we beat Ohio State and go to Iowa and get slammed it wouldn't be a great feeling at all," UW senior Jay Valai said. "Iowa is a personal game. People say our rival is Minnesota, but I think Iowa is the bigger rivalry to be honest with you. We have a lot of connections and a lot of us were recruited there.

Not to mention Iowa is, well, relevant.

Bucky getting decimated at the wrong time, ala preceding MSU. If Toon plays but is as hindered as he was against Sparty, it isn't worth anything. He's actually a liability. And we'll be without Borland and Taylor as well. That's 3 of the 8 or so impact players that this team without much depth within the starting unit as well as bench, we were going to be so heavily reliant upon.

Do we want Sparty to lose? Not the most up-to-date on the BCS and conference rankings.

They're undefeated, atop the Big Ten, and defeated us.....so of course.

I think it's laughable though that certain Badgers' fans have feared they will run the table. They have never come even close in recent history. Between @ Northwestern, @ Iowa, @ PSU, v. Purdue; they'll be ousted at least once, probably twice or more. It's MSU!

Fair enough. Not the biggest college fan, but wasn't sure if we would catch them since they have a tie breaker over us and if it would just be better for our only loss be to a top 5 team.

Winning the Big Ten is obviously the first priority so we definately want MSU to lose lose lose.
