That's why no one - not even Jones himself - is fully sure how to get more evenness in his play.

"James Jones could play better, yes," Jones said. "But James Jones believes to be up, you need opportunities. I can't throw the ball to myself. I can't do that.

Awesome use of third person but on a serious note, I feel that the only thing that separates Jones from Sterling Sharpe is all between the ears. Unbelievable talent if only he can focus himself on catching the football.

In the interviews I've heard he consistently harps on opportunities and balls thrown to him. But then:

James Jones wrote:I haven't really made the most of my opportunities and I have let a couple balls go.

Don't drop balls and don't fumble and you'd get more looks. DrugBust thinks James Jones has a brain-dead perspective.

ClassicJack thinks that if you can get something worthwhile for James Jones this offseason you do it and keep it moving. James Jones' problems this year is all James Jones.

James Jones drives emunney nuts with how he almost never covers up the ball before contact. James Jones almost fumbles on half his catches.

Bucksfans1and 2 realizes he's probably all alone on this one, but Bucksfans1and 2 like James Jones.

PkrsBcksGphsMqt agrees with Bucksfans1and2, James Jones is a good receiver.

I like James Jones, he needs to get better at ball security but I don't want to trade him.

My issue with Jones is a lack of fire. Watch the replay of that fumble during the Bears game, he just got easily stripped and then just watched it. The same on one of Rodgers picks in a game a few weeks ago, he could have easily broken up the pass for an in-completion but just watched it. Yeah, he's talented, but there is more to it than talent. Play your ass off all the time.

Ill-yasova agrees with you guys. There is just to much talent their to cast him aside. Ill-yasova thinks that James Jones' potential make him more valuable than James Jones would be as trade bait.
