Did anybody else notice the Packers are ranked ahead of the Bears in the most recent ESPN.com power rankings? Just saw the top 10 on first take right now, kind of surprising.

Peter KIng has had us ranked ahead of the Bears all season, even after they beat us. But every few years Chicago has a season where everything goes great. And then they suck again.

1996 - 7-9
1997 - 4-12
1998 - 4-12
1999 - 6-10
2000 - 5-11

2001 - 13-3

2002 - 4-12
2003 - 7-9
2004 - 5-11

2005 - 11-5
2006 - 13-3

2007 - 7-9
2008 - 9-7
2009 - 7-9

2010 - 9-3

Yep, I was just telling my friend who is a Bears fan, that this is one of those years where everything goes right. Next year they'll be back to being a 5-7 win team.

Did anybody who follows Packer writers on Twitter read the Boston Globe article that Bedard wrote last week about how the Patriots used the film on the Packers/Jets game extensively in forming their game plan? I guess they did so because the Packers most closely resemble the Pats on both sides of the ball. What sucks is that the Pats will probably do the same thing going into this Bears game (although all they'll see are penalties in that one), meaning they'll essentially have 2 weeks of film study in on us already going into our game at their place.

We are probably watching some film of Pats/Lions from Thanksgiving

Scenarios in which the Bears will win on Sunday

-Tom Brady gets the 24 hour flu the night before the game

-Brandon Merriweather takes a fumble back to the house, but towards the wrong endzone a la Jim Marshall, for a safety.

-BB's hoody has a pizza stain on it, and he is self conscious throughout the entire game, resulting in botched defensive calls

Nevermind, we won't have to worry about Chicago beating New England anymore, seems Urlacher has opened his mouth:

“New England is the best team in the NFL, record-wise,” Urlacher told the Chicago Tribune yesterday. “But I feel like we’re the best team, period

How the hell are you gonna open your mouth 3 days before you play vs the GOAT quarterback?

We still have to worry. Anytime the Bears play on that crappy field late in the season, they have a great chance to win. It seems like that's one of the biggest home field advantages in the league late in the year.

Potential significant snow on Saturday. I could see a scenerio where the Pats plane doesn't get in until midnight Saturday night.

Al Harris on IR, done for the season. Guess it wasn't such a bad idea to cut him loose.

The impending Saturday snow, if there is any, is suppose to get here in the afternoon. So yeah, if that's what ends up happening the Pats will just fly in Saturday morning instead of the afternoon as they are scheduled.

If Megatron wants to leave Detroit, I would be all for throwing a ton of money at him to get him in Green Bay. I would love to see Rodgers throwing to Megatron/Jennings/Finley. DYNASTY.
