NCAA Bowls: Orange Bowl- VT v Stanford

Post#1 » by Mags FTW » Wed Dec 22, 2010 2:38 am

Will update the title as we progress through bowl week.

So Miss-Louisville in the "BEEF 'O' BRADY'S BOWL"...lol. Worst title ever.

Looked like a blowout in the beginning but Louisville has come back to tie it before half. Tomorrow we've got Utah v Boise. At least that will be decent.

As much as I love football I can't bring myself to watch some of these. Boise/Utah I'll watch.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I usually only watch the National Championship and the Rose Bowl. These other games are about as pointless as they get.

These guys shouldn't have rubbed butter on their hands before the game. That's like 8 drops in the game.

This game is "exciting" because of it's sloppiness.

Interesting read on how a lot of the bowl games are actually a negative financial burden on the institutions/conferences

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-12-2 ... ayout.html

All the more reason why there should be a playoff system with early rounds being played at home. Home games don't lose money.

Terrelle Pryor and 5 others suspended 1st 5 games next season.

Such a joke that they weren't suspended for the Bowl Game. Some punishment.

I think its a joke that they are suspended at all personally.

I don't disagree that they should be able to do what they want with their own stuff. But it's against the rules, and Pryor did it multiple times.

I also don't know why he'd want to sell his Big Ten Championship ring. That'd be a pretty cool thing to hold onto, IMO.

Because he's an absolute idiot. Have you ever heard some of the crap he says? It's amazing how a guy like that can somehow get into Ohio State...

I wish I knew the Hawaii QBs were going to throw a pick to everyone on the island in a blue shirt.

Well that was probably the most exciting end to a game named after pizza ever.

That was a great game, too bad for Toledo with the Packer like 4th and 17 defense.

What is AF/GT spread? Tech has not been good of late, thinking about coining up the Academy...
