Don Majkowski

Post#1 » by El Duderino » Sat Dec 25, 2010 12:07 am

I saw this link posted elsewhere, but i thought i'd post it here for anyone who remembered the Majik Man years in Green Bay. The Packers franchise was largely in the dumps and Majkowski breathed some excitement back into the team for fans to enjoy. I'm glad to see that whenever Don comes back to Green Bay, the fans still remember him and show him some love for what he did on the field instead of him only being remembered as the guy who lost his job to Favre.

It'd be sweet to get a Majik jersey.

Also, I met him briefly at a charity golf event about 6 years ago. Really nice, laid back guy, signed autographs and chatted with people. Smokin' hot wife, too.

Excellent video. Crazy that he was thinking about amputation for a while. Glad to hear he's doing well.

Love it. Majik was similar to Favre in many ways. Not quite the big arm but he loved to play and loved to win. Great guy.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Majik: "did you lose a tooth?

Son: "No, I'm just coughing up blood"

Majik (chuckling) "I like that".
