Remember 6 yrs ago this morning Reggie White passed away due to sleep apnea complications. Sad day for Packer nation, all of NFL. Great man.

RIP Reggie. I remember waking up 6 years ago, getting ready to watch football and hearing of his death during Sunday Countdown. Literally brought a tear to my eye, I was utterly shocked he had passed away already.

I hate Cris Carter even more as an analyst than I did as a player. He is picking the Giants because of "Aaron Rodgers inability to stay healthy for the entirety of the game." WTF, is he predicting he gets a third concussion? It's not like he is Matthew Stafford with numerous injuries through out his career. I can't stand that **** guy.

I remember reading that the Giants lead the league in hitting the QB (not sacks, just knocking down) and injuring QBs during the game. Maybe that is what Carter meant?

Heard that too. Good analysis Cris. I figure there's at least an 80 percent chance Rodgers is knocked out of the game.

Or maybe like a five percent chance. But certainly enough of a chance to pick the Giants.

My biggest worry is how badly the Giants D-Line is going to destroy Rodgers. We need a massive effort from the O-Line today.

I hope Starks gets some action today, he didn't get much vs the Lions and was inactive vs the Pats.

I don't think I've seen anyone pick us yet. I hope we come out firing on all cylinders in the first quarter for once.

EDIT: Bradshaw picked us on FOX.

I don't think McCarthy is smart enough to call that.

We'll see lots of 3rd and longs after we try to run up the middle. And when we get 3rd and shorts we'll throw deep.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

MM will probably just try to get the 3rd and short that the Pack were able to get many times last week, hopefully the running game can keep up the performance, especially Kuhn.

Packers win 27-21

I was listening to 540 on my way from Milwaukee up to Stevens Point this morning and one of the guys was talking about how he expects the Packers to come out and play smashmouth football and run it down their throats. LLLLLOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL

Inactives:

QB Graham Harrell
CB Josh Gordy
RB James Starks
LB Diyral Briggs
LB Frank Zombo
OL Nick McDonald
OL Marshall Newhouse
DE Cullen Jenkins

Sucks not having Jenkins. Would much rather see Starks than Nance. Nance doesn't impress me at all.

Are you sure he didn't say he expects the Packers to GET smashed in the mouth?

That would obviously make a lot more sense and is probably what will happen.

I mean the Packers can win this but it won't be because they played smash mouth football.

Nance is going to be key for us in getting 4 yards on 3rd and 11s.

Packers better win because my fantasy team is getting dominated by a bunch of crap players having their best games of the season, including Cutler.
