After TT's absurd draft class this year, I will refrain from whining about his picks*
*Until Next years draft when all bets are off.

We gave up way too much to move back into the 1st round imo.

Getting by on his family rep, IMO.

I'm surprised that Suh wasn't in the top 5

So which Packer gets it next year? Raji or Tramon?

No, AP is the official award. Players, coaches and execs vote on the Sporting News award.
And Dude, Suh probably would have been my #2 or #3. Maybe #1 if I wasn't a little bit biased

It's between Matthews and Suh for me.

While this is not the "official" award, to me, players, coaches and execs pull more weight than writers.

It's really an uphill battle for Suh playing for what's still not a good defense. Typically you're not going to get individual accolades on an unsuccessful team unless your stats are bonkers.

Clay should be wired up every game. I also loved Jennings' excitement when Starks started to get the run game going.

While laying on top of Michael Vick:
What's up, Mike Vick, baby?

I agree with you
While Matthews certainly is very deserving and with how Pittsburgh does with/without Polamalu, he also is deserving of being mentioned. Peppers has played above his sack totals and has been huge in helping make the Bears defense a top NFL unit.
That all said, Suh is an absolute beast and the best rookie defensive lineman in a quite awhile. To get 10 sacks from the DT position and also be a disruptive force vs the run is something that doesn't happen much for quality veteran defensive tackles, but for a rookie, it just shows how special he is. Plus, the guy plays with such a mean streak, Suh reminds me of a DT version of Ray Lewis mentality wise.
Watching that game vs the Packers in Detroit, he was just walking our lineman into the backfield repeatedly, including a very physical Josh Sitton. As much as i enjoy watching Suh play, i'd enjoy it more if he wasn't in the NFC North.

Will be interesting to see if he wins the 'real' DPOY. I think it should be really close between him and Polamalu. Both of them had great years.

Also, how did everyone miss:
Dwight Freeney, DE, Colts: “Clay is a high-motor guy. It’s a little bit different because he’s a linebacker. As a linebacker, they move you around a little bit more and he gets some matchups with tight ends and backs a little more than you would as a defensive end. He does a tremendous job of taking advantage of the opportunities given to him. … Basically, he gets those one-on-one matchups, and when you get them you have to win them. He’s definitely one of those ‘dominate’ guys.”

You can tell the fact that Clay has been able to practice the last few weeks has really helped him. The fact that he can practice has afforded Capers the opportunity to move him around and put him in better positions to make plays, and it's showing.
