The idea of the game is that everyday the board votes on who they would pick if they had that particular draft spot. So the first day of the game, everybody would vote for who they would draft if they were Carolina's GM. Second day, who you would select if you were the Bronco's GM. All the way down the line. There would be a poll that people would vote in just to make it clear. I'm interested to see how the general consesus on this board weighs up against experts like Keiper and McShay

Some buddies of mine have been doing this at school and have been having a lot of fun with it. It really get's you informed on all the prospects. I can understand if you're not interested or want to wait until after the SB, but I know there are some draft guru's on this board, and it seems like the SB is never going to get here. A little draft fun to make the days go by a bit faster eh??

We always do something like this in the RealGM NFL Draft forum leading up to the draft. People claim teams as their own and then each guy has X amount of time to make his selection. It makes for a very honest draft so you can't let guys conveniently fall to your team's spot if you are making your own mock.

Anyways, I would be game for something like this. Not sure if we have enough guys interested enough on here though.

Like Riot said, we did one last year in the NFL Draft forum. In fact, it's still on the 1st page in that forum. I'm sure we'll get another one going this year but it will probably be in a couple months when the draft is closer.

I think you'd find more interest and traffic doing it here.

I like the idea of a poll with a lot of options instead individual users making picks. We could probably leave that for the draft board.

Yeah, I didn't really read the OP very carefully. Seems like a solid idea, but again I'd say we should wait until the draft is closer.

I like the idea but yeah, let's wait until the draft is closer. We'll be celebrating our Super Bowl victory well into March.
