Worst and Obscure Packers of All Time

This can be a funny topic, reminscing about all the turds that have come through here. I thought I'd start it now, since its a happy time in Packerland. (Champs! :D )

Worst

Chris Akins - I don't remember much of this guy, except mild mannered Sherman was once so upset at one of his personal foul penalties, he went onto midfield and cursed him out during a timeout. Unfortunately, he has as many rings as Aaron Rodgers.

Ross Verba - Not sure if he was terrible, I just remember you could pencil him in for one false start a game

Donnell Washington Again, not terrible because he never got on the field (I don't think), but when he was drafted out of Clemson the knock on him was that he took plays off. When a reporter asked him why, he replied (honest to god) that taking plays off was "part of the system."

Obscure

Rondell Mealey

Dmonn Parker - Had to cut him because he was smoking some blunts in a car in Chicago. He was blasting music from a parked car. Idiot.

Roell Preston - Loved this guy, not sure he ever took one back, but came damn close.

90% of players acquired by Mike Sherman. To put it in perspective how bad players who were brought in during his tenure were, he wanted as a starter LB Armengis Spearman, who was a backup at the time and out of the league the next season. So who we had were his 2nd choices to studs like him. This program has come a long where to where it's difficult to find many guys who you truly despise. Brandon Jackson and Jarrett Bush are players who frustrate fans in their primary roles, but even they contribute in other ways to mitigate that.

Literally LOL'ed at this sentence.

I always hope for Fergy. I remember one offseason he received laser eye surgery and could see better. I was convinced that would be the year he'd break out. I remember telling my friends, "guys, he can see the ball now!" :(

If you can remember their name, they couldn't be that obscure. And if they played in a regular season game, they couldn't have been that bad.

Yep...he was terrible, but he wasn't the worst Packer of all time. If you make an NFL roster for the regular season, and get drafted in the first round, you've got some talent. Carroll just didn't have the head to go with it.

Who was that really bad journeyman OL guy that we brought in for maybe 18-months a couple years back? Somehow he apparently was the only guy WSSP could get for a regular morning guest. But I can't recall his name.
